Hi, My name is Monika and I have just arrived in Amsterdam. I am originally from Bulgaria, but I have spent most of my time living in Greece. I am looking for a nice quiet and friendly place to live in the Amsterdam area. I currently work at a Pharamacy in Zuidoost so that area would be ideal.

Hoii ik ben Evelien, ik ben 18 jaar en in september ga ik beginnen aan de studie Pedagogiek bij NHL Stenden in Leeuwarden. Om die reden zoek ik een kamer in Leeuwarden, omdat ik anders een te lange reistijd heb. In mijn vrije tijd vind ik het leuk om te lezen, te sporten en af te spreken met vriendinnen. Verder luister ik veel naar muziek en vind het dan ook erg leuk om naar concerten en festivals te gaan. Zelf ben ik een vrij rustig persoon en zoek ik een plekje waar ik wel op mijzelf kan zijn, maar ik vind het ook gezellig om af en toe een praatje te maken!

I am quite social and extroverted out and about, but prefer a clean and quiet oasis as my home.

Hey, my name is Kerrin, I´m 24 and a soon to be Master´s student from Germany looking for a place to live in Leiden or close by that ideally comes with nice people to live with and will hopefully feel like a home for the next few years. I´m currently finishing my Bachelor´s of molecular medicine in Tübingen, Germany, and will specialize in Biology and Science Communication in the future. Being interested in communication also means that I put great emphasis on a well-functioning communication in a shared flat and with people in general. It is very important to me that everyone´s needs can be talked about and are respected (including e.g. clean common spaces, quiet times, consideration of stressfull times, etc.). I´ve lived in two different shared flats and a student residence so far and loved the feeling of community and activities like cooking together, trips, or board game nights. I´m not much of a party person but will always be happy to join you for a cup of coffee or a walk on the beach. My friends describe me as empathetic, determined, well-organized, and funny and in my free time I like to be creative, spend time outside or cooking, meeting friends over a coffee, or learn a new language. Besides English and German, I´ve had fun learning Swedish and am currently getting into Spanish and Dutch. It would be great to have flatmates who could see themselves contributing to my Dutch too. Perks of living with me would include that I can take very good care of your plants while you´re away and that I have lots of great recipes from my time working at the bakery of my favorite café. After three years of work, I started following a Master's in Political Science at the VU and am looking for a room with one or more roommates (x/m/f) from the end of May (flexible). I am familiar with various forms of cohabitation and am known as a conscious, clean, reliable and sociable roommate. Expect lavish (vegetarian) cooking and good conversations. I also like to just quietly read a book on the sofa. Leaking john? Broken shower head? Things of the past. A proper espresso machine and good kitchen equipment will move along with me.
