I've just been admitted at Utrech University, so I'm planning to move to the Netherlands around mid-final august, although dates can be flexible. I am a biomedical engineer specialized in artificial intelligence and medical imaging, but, besides all my academic background, I'm all about living life to the fullest: I enjoy travelling as much as I can, partying till sunrise, having lunch with friends, playing tennis or going to the gym and getting (and making) tattoos! By starting my journey in the Netherlands, I expect to meet other international students and sharing our cultures and experiences as well as having my own independent life :) But hey, living together isn't just about the fun stuff, right? Hey, I'm Jana, 20 years old, from Frankfurt Germany. I will start my international bachelor's degree in psychology in Leiden in September. So I'm looking for a room in Leiden/near Leiden from June/July/August on. About me: I graduated from high school last summer and decided to travel Europe. There I worked in different hostels and always shared a dorm with the other lovely volunteers. The 4 months have taught me a lot about being independent and tidying up my stuff and keeping things clean. But it helped me even more to learn to share a room with so many other people from other cultures and to live together and set boundaries as well as to accept those of others. Apart from traveling, I love going out with friends for a few drinks, dancing to house music and wine evenings on the balcony. On the other hand, I also love having really quiet evenings where we just sit together relax, chat, maybe cook and watch a movie. In my free time I go to the gym regularly. And just recently I've gotten to do yoga and Pilates a little more, which I also really enjoy. I am also a very creative person who likes to do crafts, paint or make pottery. And I also enjoy doing it with friends! About the room I would imagine a room around 15 m2 in size. But more important about the roomies. 1-3 roommates would be ideal - but I would have absolutely no problem with a larger number of roommates. Of course it would be great if the roommates were about the same age as me. Of course, I think it would be ideal if at some point as roommates you share hobbies and do things together((:

My name is Andrea, and I'm a 24-year-old Italian looking for a room from mid-August to September 2025. I plan to move to Rotterdam to pursue a Master's degree in Financial Economics at EUR. I'm looking for a place with friendly and positive people where I can have meaningful conversations and exchange ideas. I've been used to living and handling difficulties on my own since I was a kid. I am calm, cheerful, and tidy, although I may be a little messy with my belongings. Moreover, I am very active and have been playing ice hockey for ten years. I hope to continue playing in the Netherlands. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, watching films or TV series, and reading books. I also like going to the gym to improve my physical condition. I plan to spend most of the day at the university, but I hope to find a comfortable room to come back to when I'm tired after a long day of studying. I am Carmen, 29, originally from Austria and currently, I work as Marketing Manager at a Sales company in Houthaven (and loving it!) Initially, I moved here to study, but, eventually, I fell in love with the Netherlands and decided to stay 🤍 Where do I live now and why am I moving? Currently, I live in an apartment in Nieuw-West with one roommate, however, my rental contract was only one year, so now is the time for me to look for a new place I can call home. When am I moving? I am looking for a room from June onward but I am flexible and can also move in sooner! Am I tidy? I am Austrian, I think being organized and tidy is in our DNA 😄 But seriously, I think when sharing your living space it's important to clean up after yourself and just be considerate of one another (and have open communication!) Who else am I bringing? No one! It's just me and my 3 plants (but they are barely hanging on for dear life… so we'll see if they make it) BUT I am always buying fresh flowers (see picture as a reference 🌸) What do I do when I am not working? Generally, I am a quite quiet and relaxed person. Since my job is very demanding, I am usually tired when I get home. However, I am always up for a chat :) Weekends I either spend with friends at a nice brunch spot, go to a museum, the gym, or a nice walk, or just relax with a nice book. Am I a party girl? On a good day, I barely make it to 11.00 pm before I hit the bed 😴 but then again, if you wanna have a glass of wine in the kitchen and talk about life...say less 🍷 Some other things you should know? I don't have any pets, I don't smoke and I would like to rent a room for at least 1 year, but preferably longer if that's possible. Vanaf 1 Juni loopt mijn huidige accommodatie af en heb ik dus een nieuwe woning nodig. Ik ben een net, rustig persoon en ben recent gestart met mijn eerste baan. Dit is een contract van 2 jaar met uitzicht op verlenging dat mij momenteel €2500 bruto in de maand oplevert (dit word iets hoger, er komt 1 extra dag bij). Verder rook ik niet, heb ik geen huisdieren en zou in mijn eentje verhuizen.

Ik ben Benk, ben 18 jaar en ga per september 2024 studeren ina in Delft. Omdat ik uit het verre oosten kom ben ik op zoek naar een kamer. Meer over mijzelf: ik ben een rustige jongen, maar hou wel van gezelligheid! Ik speel graag een gezelschapsspel, zoals Ticket to Ride, Monopoly, 999 Games etc. Ik ouwehoer (soms te veel volgens mijn familie), hou van een biertje. In Delft ga ik Applied Earth Sciences studeren en zoals gezegd, Delft ligt niet naast de deur, dus hoop ik een kamer in de regio te vinden. Wat heb ik te bieden: ik ben mijn kook skills aan het ontwikkelen, en een Dr. Oetker kwarktaart is inmiddels een specialiteit, dus deze zit er sowieso bij in! Voor een pastaatje draai ik mijn hand ook niet om. En wat betreft het huishouden, de stofzuiger weet ik ook aardig te hanteren.

I am an international student whose housing contract expires soon, so I am looking for a place to rent immediately. When going out with friends we would usually spend our time driving around, and I am also looking to soon buy a motorcycle to help me get to school. At my current apartment I have kept my room clean and have not damaged anything.
