Therefore I will be moving from Berlin (where I currently live) to Nijmegen and I am looking for a room to call home. Here is a little bit about myself: After graduating from high school in 2024, I worked, travelled in Europe for two months and lived with a family in Italy as an AuPair for three months. Through my abroad experiences I have learned to be independent and adaptable. Thanks to my exchange year in the United States in 2021/22, I speak both German and English fluently. I enjoy both social activities and having a calm space to relax and study. I have previously lived in a shared apartment, which was a great experience for me. I've been in Utrecht since then, so this would be a local move rather than a fresh start, I know the area and I'm settled here. Outside work I'm at the gym a few times a week and I walk a lot; it's how I get away from a screen. The rest of my free time mostly goes into programming , I'm usually building something, learning a new tool, or taking a system apart to see how it works. As a housemate I'm tidy, self-sufficient and easy to live alongside. I cook properly, clean up after myself, and I'm not someone who fills the house with people. I like coming home to a calm place at the end of the day. I'm not a student, which in practice means a steady income, a predictable weekday routine, and no plans to move out at the end of a semester.
