Hey! My name is Willem (25 years) and I started my PhD in February at the RIVM. The project is about building models to predict the spread of infectious diseases, like our good old friend corona… About myself: I am a social, physically active, calm and tidy person. In my spare time, I do calisthenics. Mostly in the gym, but preferably outside with nice weather and good company. Outdoor activities are my favorite! Besides calisthenics, I am looking for another sport, which might become bouldering and/or cycling. I also enjoy listening to music (from classical music to heavy metal and everything in between) and still want to learn how to sing. Besides sports, I really enjoy having a chat with my roommates during dinner or a relaxed evening on the couch. I work 2-3 days from home, so there are plenty of opportunities to catch up! Ik studeer af in de richting Corporate communicatie. Na deze opleiding wil ik de master journalistiek aan de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen gaan volgen. Daarvoor volg ik ook nog de minor Journalistiek aan de RUG volgend jaar. Ik kom uit een redelijk groot gezin (we zijn met zijn 7en thuis), dus ik ben wel wat drukte gewend. Mijn hobby's zijn sport (fietsen en fitness), reizen en ik vind het hartstikke leuk om te bakken!

PhD candidate at the VU Amsterdam

I moved to the Netherlands for my job in January - I work as a translator for an international travel company - and temporarily lived in a shared house in Diemen. Since the landlord sold the house, I'm looking for a new home starting from June. My office is located in Amsterdam, so I'm looking for a quiet (studio) apartment or a quiet room in a shared apartment close to a train station or metro/tram/bus stop with good connections to "Amsterdam Bijlmer Arena". However, since I work partly from home, a commute of up to an hour is fine to me, and I'm open to accommodation outside of Amsterdam if I can reach the office within a reasonable time. I'm a reliable, tidy and clean tenant and take good care of the space I live in. I'm quiet and am also looking for a quiet space since I work from home on some days. Therefore, I'm also looking for a space with enough room to have a desk and an office chair (apart from the usual bed, closet, etc.). If you offer a room in a shared apartment, please additionally note: I have lived in various shared apartments before and can accommodate to different kind of roommates easily. I'm a nice, quiet (but sociable), tidy and reliable person. I'm respectful towards my roommates' needs, and will always treat shared spaces and your privacy with care.

Een 21 jaar oud derdejaars geneeskundestudent aan de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. Volgend jaar zal ik beginnen aan mijn master, en ik ben momenteel op zoek naar een kamer die beschikbaar zal zijn vanaf begin of eind juni, waar ik gedurende het komende studiejaar kan verblijven. Momenteel werk ik als student-assistent bij medische fysiologie aan het UMCG, en volgend jaar zal ik werkzaam zijn als studenttutor. Ik ben een rustige student met hobby's als fitness en tijd doorbrengen met vrienden. Ik rook niet en heb geen huisdieren. Mijn voorkeur gaat uit naar een rustige kamer waar ik kan studeren en ontspannen. Indien mogelijk zou ik graag een fysieke bezichtiging willen regelen.

Hoi, mijn naam is Myrthe en ik ben bijna 19 jaar. In september start ik met de opleiding Psychologie aan de Radboud Universiteit. Nu nog woon ik nog in Amsterdam en op mezelf; wat ik super fijn vind. Ik hou van sporten (roeien, padel, surfen, etc…) en van muziek maken (piano spelen/zingen). Verder word ik blij van leuke dingen doen met vrienden. Moving to the Netherlands on the 1 of May to work as an engineer at ASML. Highly educated, responsible and with plenty of experience renting and living with other people. I make all of my payments on time and give notice to the landlord of any problems that might arise. I have temporary accommodation until the 24th of June and I am looking for a 1 bedroom apartment, studio or a bedroom in a shared house with working flatmates (no students).
