Let me tell a bit more about myself: I was born and raised in the Netherlands and have studied business and innovation in Groningen and Newcastle. I love to travel and go on outdoor adventures. Last year I went hiking for 3 weeks in the Annapurna region in Nepal, this was amazing and I can really recommend it. Next to that I like to do rock climbing and am currently training for a mountain marathon. Now I may seem like someone who can't sit still or whatever but I am a actually a very calm housemate who likes to chill, experiment with cooking, listen to all sorts of music ranging from jazz to hip-hop and from indie to techno (I'll bring my hi-fi set, you'll love it). I'm always down for a drink/borrel and like to go to a festival or a bar every now and then! Apart from this I work full-time as a consultant in the IT-sector and like to work at home from time-to-time. Ah yea, I have a lot of plants, hopefully I can bring them! I’m a 22-year-old student and will start my MSc degree at Erasmus in September. Currently I live in Eindhoven, where I completed my bachelor’s degree. In my time here I come from Poland, however I have lived most of my life in Ireland (13 years), before moving to the Netherlands for university. During my time in Eindhoven, I helped organise activities from my study association, I did a student team part-time and was part of a volleyball team for 3 years, so I like to keep myself busy. In Eindhoven most of my friends were Dutch and spoke Dutch to me, so I can almost fluently understand Dutch, and speaking is a work-in-progress. While I enjoy social activities, I am also an ambitious student; I completed my BSc in 3 years and will follow 2 MSc programs. I am outgoing, but also like to relax at home from time to time whether it is board games or watching a series. I am a tidy person and always clean up after myself. I enjoy cooking and know how to make a meal or two. What I value in a house is a relaxed atmosphere, where there are people to just chill with, but where I can also find some space for myself to relax. Currently I'm in the process of moving to the Netherlands and this will be my initial base whilst I look for a home to rent. My employer is based within Amsterdam and so I would ideally prefer to find a suitable studio or room within a commutable distance so I would ideally like to find a place within Holland, but I am open to commuting futher. Hi! I'm Linus, 22 years old and currently living in Austria. I have already obtained a degree in Comparative Literature Studies and will be starting another Bachelor in Psychology in September of 2024 at Leiden University. Therefore I am currently on the lookout for possible housing opportunities, where I can stay for the duration of my studies. I consider myself an easy-going person, who enjoys a little company from time to time, but can easily keep to myself as well. In my free time I love to read, go to cafes, meet up with friends and relax in my room. I am a third year Data Science student in Eindhoven. in September 2024 I am starting the master's of Artificial Intelligence at University van Amsterdam. I usually spend most of my time on campus either studying or working. In terms of shared facilities I care the most about kitchen as I like to cook a lot, I prefer if it is kept clean by all members of the house. I am not a big party person, I prefer the calm and quiet atmosphere at the house, but I don't mind occasional social events. I don't have any pets, and I also don't smoke.
