My name is Giulia; I was born and raised in Genoa, Italy. Ever since I was a child, I’ve always dreamed of moving abroad to build a life in a new, international, and open-minded country. In recent years, I’ve managed to turn this dream into a concrete plan, deeply convinced that the Netherlands is the perfect place for me. What attracts me to this country is the people's open-mindedness and the balanced, independent lifestyle. The main reason for my move would be the psychology program I’d like to pursue at the University of Leiden, one of the best in Europe. In addition, the campus is located next to the ice skating rink—the sport of my dreams, which I am unable to practice in Italy. So living in Leiden would allow me to study the subject I love and practice the sport I’ve always been passionate about, but have never been able to pursue competitively. For all these reasons, finding a home in the Netherlands is not just a logistical necessity, but a way to realize my life plan. Ik ben Felix (22) en tweedejaars student MediaMusic aan het ArtEZ Conservatorium, waar ik me ontwikkel tot film en mediacomponist. Binnen mijn eigen onderneming schrijf ik muziek voor verschillende projecten, zoals korte films, documentaires en af en toe games. Daarnaast werk ik regelmatig als geluidsman op filmsets, wat zorgt voor een fijne afwisseling. Het is leuk om onder de mensen te zijn en onderdeel uit te maken van een creatief team. Ik bespeel meerdere instrumenten, maar doe dit voornamelijk op school of met een koptelefoon, zodat ik thuis geen overlast veroorzaak. Ik woon inmiddels ruim twee jaar in Gronau en ben op zoek naar een plek dichter bij het centrum. Het lijkt me fijn om spontaner met vrienden af te spreken, samen iets te drinken of gewoon wat meer levendigheid om me heen te hebben. Enschede ken ik inmiddels al goed, maar ik sta er ook voor open om nieuwe plekken te ontdekken. Ook wil ik graag een bijbaan in Enschede vinden, wat een stuk makkelijker wordt als ik dichterbij woon. Naast mijn studie ben ik actief in het ArtEZ-voetbalteam. We spelen misschien in de laagste klasse, maar plezier en teamspirit staan voorop en een gelijkspel voelt soms al als een overwinning. Ook ga ik graag naar de sportschool, en is het als toekomstige huisgenoot altijd mogelijk om gratis mee te gaan op mijn abonnement. Als huisgenoot ben ik rustig, netjes en sociaal.
