I came to the Netherlands for an Erasmus semester and ended up genuinely loving the rhythm of life here. My free time tends to land somewhere between the gym, a book, a yard with horses, long walks, a glass of wine with the few people I'm close to, or crocheting on the sofa (yes, granny hobby, fully embraced). As a roommate I'm tidy, I enjoy sharing food and a real conversation, and I respect quiet evenings just as much. I show up for the shared stuff (groceries, cleaning, the random "we need a new lightbulb" moments), and I'm honest if something's bothering me rather than letting it build. Traveling is generally something I kinda found my passion with, exploring new cultures, traditions seeing beautiful nature and meeting new people :) A little hobby of mine is doing pictures with the old camera of my dad and capturing my favorite moments with it. I currently work at Poke Perfect in the city, which I really enjoy. Both at work and while playing tennis I’m often surrounded by Dutch people, so I’ve been trying to learn Dutch step by step and Duolingo is also reminding me everyday🤪. For me, a good balance in a shared apartment is really important: having time and space for yourself, but also enjoying spontaneous chats in the kitchen, movie nights, cooking together or just having a funny evening together. Cleanliness is also something that’s important to me. I like keeping shared spaces tidy and making sure everyone feels comfortable in the house. I’m flexible with the move-in date and would also happily move in immediately.
