Hi everyone! My name is Jonathan (27), and I’m currently pursuing a Ph.D. in fluid mechanics in Karlsruhe, Germany. Starting in May 2026, I’ll be moving to the Netherlands for six months to conduct research at TU Delft, and I’m looking for a great place to call home during my stay—whether that’s a room in a friendly shared flat or a nice single apartment! A bit about me: I’m a relaxed, easygoing guy who loves staying active. In my free time, you’ll usually find me playing padel, tennis, squash, or out on my road bike exploring the area. I also enjoy discovering cozy cafes, hanging out with friends, and traveling the world whenever I get the chance. Thanks to working at an international institute, I speak fluent English. If it's a shared flat: I have several years of experience living in shared apartments, so I know the drill! I value good, open communication and naturally clean up after myself. I would love to find friendly, open-minded flatmates who enjoy relaxed game nights, cooking together, or just catching up over a coffee, tea, or a glass of wine after a long day in the lab. At the same time, I completely respect closed doors and everyone's need for personal space.
