Hi! My name is Ilian Faure and I'm 18 years old, originally from Paris, France. This September, I'll be starting my Bachelor's in Global Communication Science at the University of Amsterdam — a programme I've worked hard to get into, and I'm genuinely excited to begin this chapter of my life in Amsterdam. I'm looking for a room or studio available from 15 August 2026, with a budget up to €800/month. A little about who I am as a tenant: I'm tidy, quiet, and respectful of shared spaces and housemates. I don't smoke, I don't throw parties, and I take my studies seriously. I love connecting with people and enjoy cooking. My father is fully involved in my move and is available as a financial guarantor. We can provide proof of university enrolment, a guarantor letter, and any other documents required. If you have a room available or are considering future tenants, I'd love to hear from you. I'm responsive, reliable, and ready to move forward quickly. Thank you for reading — I hope we get to connect! 🙏

I’m Cristina, 25 years old, and I’ve been living in Amsterdamfor a while now. I work full-time in digital marketing as a team lead at an agency, and besides that I also run my own jewelry art studio at Treehouse NDSM. Most of my free time somehow ends up in the studio making jewelry or metal sculptures, which I genuinely love. I’d say I’m a very open-minded, friendly, and easygoing person. I like having a warm and comfortable home atmosphere, where everyone feels relaxed and at ease. Outside of work, I’m into cooking, dinners with friends, jazz music, and all the small cozy things that make a place feel like home. I’m also a very tidy person and I genuinely like cleanliness — to the point where I actually clean when I’m stressed, which I guess is not the worst coping mechanism to have 😅 I’m respectful of shared spaces and pretty mindful of the people I live with. At the moment I’m living with two guys already, so I’m very used to shared living and different personalities around the house. I’m social and happy to chat from time to time, but I also really respect personal space and everyone having their own routine.

Hi everyone! I'm Lola, 22 years old and from Vienna, Austria. I'll be moving to the Netherlands at the end of August to get my Masters in Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University (The Hague Campus). Ideally, I'm trying to find a room in a shared apartment/house with roommates or a small apartment/studio either in The Hague, Leiden or Delft to rent for a little more than a year starting mid-August. I'm very excited to be studying "abroad" (or away from home, I guess) again, as I find that experiencing new cultures is one of the best things a young person can do. I'm a huge fan of traveling and I got my Bachelor's degree in the United States, so I think living somewhere different in Europe for my Masters will be a cool change. I'm used to living with people, I've always grown up with siblings and spent the last four years living with 1, 2 and all the way up to 6 people, so I'd say I'm quite adaptable and know how roommate life works. As for my free time, I looove all things food and going out to eat, hanging out with my roommates, reading, going out on the weekends but also having fun nights in. I would describe myself as outgoing, responsible, independent, easygoing, and fun to be around. I'm also a very active person, I've played tennis my whole life and played college sports while in the US but generally enjoy most sports (especially volleyball and football). I don't speak Dutch yet BUT I'll be learning, so for now I hope my German and English (and humble French) will suffice :). Excited to meet you guys!!

Dear future landlord, My name is Dominika, and I am a 22-year-old student from Poland, searching for housing in Leiden. For the past three years, I have been renting a room in a student house in Maastricht, where I did my Bachelor's, and I lived with 4 other girls. We managed to keep the common areas clean at all times; therefore, I can confidently describe myself as a calm, tidy, and respectful tenant who does not smoke. We rarely had to contact the agency because there were no issues, and the rent was ALWAYS paid on time. I plan to find a part-time job, and I have full financial support from my parents. I am a huge biology nerd; I find genetics extremely interesting. In my free time, I enjoy reading; I am also trying to learn how to sew clothes, and, if the weather allows, I enjoy running.

Hey there! My name is Patrick van Dijk. I am Dutch-Australian, raised on the Gold Coast in Australia with my parents and two sisters in a household where languages, conversation, and curiosity were just part of daily life. Growing up, watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S and Gilmore Girls almost felt like a kind of religious ritual in our house, and Friday nights were often spent having long, slightly too deep conversations about religion, philosophy, or politics (despite none of us really knowing that much about any of these things). It was a home that was warm, talkative, and very full of ideas, but also clean, structured, and responsible. My dad used to vacuum at 7am on Saturdays, which I definitely found irritating as a kid, but it also instilled in me a strong respect for tidy spaces and the idea that household responsibilities are just part of life, even if I personally prefer pushing the vacuuming to a more reasonable Saturday afternoon. I am moving to Leiden in 2026 to begin my Master’s in International Relations at Leiden University, after completing my BA in History and German at the University of Queensland. I speak English natively, German after three years of university study, Dutch at a conversational to semi-fluent level (and I am very motivated to become fully fluent during my time in Leiden), and a little Spanish from a year of study. I genuinely love languages and what they open up socially and culturally, so I am always excited to meet housemates from different backgrounds, learn new words, and understand how other people see the world. During my undergraduate years, I lived in a residential student complex of around 600 students and worked as a Residential Advisor. That experience taught me how to navigate busy shared living environments, support others when needed, and maintain a calm, respectful, and functional community. It also taught me how important it is to lead by example in small, everyday ways such as keeping shared spaces clean, being considerate of others’ routines, and contributing to a positive atmosphere. In a house, I am very social and genuinely enjoy being part of a shared rhythm of life. I like kitchen conversations that turn into long discussions, shared dinners, and spontaneous moments where people actually connect rather than just pass each other. I will absolutely send you stupid reels I find funny, and I am someone who naturally asks questions about people’s lives, families, interests, and goals for the future. I enjoy getting to know people properly, not just at surface level. At the same time, I am very steady and reliable in how I live. I am someone who is perpetually early, sometimes to a fault, and I tend to get deeply focused on what I am doing, often hyperfixating on study or projects. I also have ADHD and some ongoing chronic health issues, which has made me very intentional about pacing myself, building routines, and maintaining balance in how I live day to day to avoid burnout. Because of this, I am quite structured in practice even if I am naturally energetic and curious. What sums me up best is that my ideal Sunday morning is waking up between 7 and 8, making a big breakfast (perhaps poached eggs, spinach, fried mushrooms and sourdough) and slowly easing into the day around the kitchen table. There would usually be reading, news, and conversation if housemates are around. Later I would take a train somewhere new, visit a museum or gallery, have lunch in a café, and spend time journaling or reading. I would bring my camera and spend a few hours wandering and taking photos of everyday life, then ideally end the day watching the sunset somewhere with a glass of wine, before heading home for a cosy dinner and a film, and being in bed by around 10, ready for the week ahead. What I am looking for is a house that feels alive but also grounded. A place where people share moments in the kitchen, respect each other’s space, and take both fun and responsibility seriously in their own way. I am very comfortable in shared living environments and genuinely enjoy contributing to a household both socially and practically, whether that is cooking, cleaning, or simply being an engaged and present housemate.

Hi! I’m Philipp, a Master’s student in Economics from Göttingen Germany, and I’m looking for a nice place to live during my studies. I’m an easy-going, tidy and reliable flatmate. I have experience living in shared flats and I really value a respectful and relaxed home atmosphere. For me, a good flatshare means that everyone feels comfortable, common spaces are kept clean, and people can both spend time together and have their own space. I like cycling, sports, cooking occasionally, and having good conversations over coffee or dinner. I’m not a big party person and would prefer a calm place where studying and relaxing is possible. Rent would always be paid on time, and I’m happy to provide further documents if needed. Best regards, Philipp

I am a Spanish citizen raised in NYC, with strong Mexican roots. My background is international, with chapters spent living in Antwerpen, Dar es Salaam, and Barcelona, and I am now happily settled in Amsterdam. Professionally, I hold a stable position as an Operations Manager for a Spanish tour experiences company, which I balance with running my own private yoga teaching practice. This dual income keeps my lifestyle organized, active, and financially secure. As a tenant, I value a peaceful, clean, and well-maintained home. In my free time, I lead a quiet and independent lifestyle—I am an avid reader, a frequent moviegoer (utilizing my Cineville pass), and I get around entirely by bike. I am looking for an apartment that matches this calm, respectful energy.
