Couple of facts about me: My name is Marta, currently 24y.o., I come from Warsaw, Poland. I am looking for an appartment/room/studio in Eindhoven starting from the 1st of April (also sooner if the moving situation allows me to) as I’ve got a job in one of the companies in the city. It is a full time job in marketing which would require going to the office everyday so my schedule and lifestyle will be very regular and dependent on the working hours. I have a long experience living and co-sharing living space with others as I was on student exchanges before and been studying and working abroad for over 2 years now. I did my Master’s in marketing here in Groningen (RUG) which I graduated in in October 2023. Quickly about my interests - I like nerdy stuff such as crosswords, sudoku, all types of board games and card games 😅 I play guitar a bit and sing but respectfully to my roommates. I’ve lived with 3 roommates in Groningen till now and none of them had any complaints about it. In the weekends I like to do some fun and active stuff like running, practicing yoga, swimming, playing tennis, but also just going out with friends to a karaoke bar, bowling venue, pub quiz, or just staying in and cooking together (in my portfolio I have already Mexican a la Dutch diner, Dutch diner and polish tasting 😄). I am a person that almost nothing can bother due to 'mind my own business attitude', I like keeping my room and shared space clean and in order, I do respect other’s private space and free time but I don’t mind bonding over a diner, a movie or a beer from time to time in the evening or weekends. I take care of my 5 plants which demonstrates that I’m a responsible and trustworthy person, believe me:))) oh and I don’t smoke. It would be great to have a chance to talk and introduce each other. Hoi, Ik ben Sanne, woon in Nijeveen (Drenthe...) en ben 17 jaar oud. Ik ga aankomend schooljaar beginnen aan mijn studie Geschiedenis aan de RUG. I am a motivated 3rd-year Data Science student at the TU/e and TiU, passing all of my courses with high grades. Furthermore, my commitment to self-development allows me to be on track to obtain the cum laude honor on my diploma. In my professional life, I am highly ambitious and this led me to seek and fulfill an internship at ASML. (I intend to take on new challenges when studying in Amsterdam). In my free time, I love playing chess - I’ve been competing at the national and international level since I was eight years old, which allowed me to become a medalist at multiple national championships (I also won the Dutch Student Chess Championship in 2023). Furthermore, apart from my personal income, I am also financially supported by my family and their income greatly surpasses the rent. Ik heb ervoor gekozen om in Nederland te studeren omdat ik al verliefd was geworden op het land toen ik een uitwisselingsjaar deed in een klein dorpje vlakbij Eindhoven (De Mortel). Daar woonde ik bij een Nederlands gezin en ging naar een Nederlandse school en daarom spreek ik de taal nu vloeiend (ook al is het in de loop van de tijd misschien een beetje roestig geworden;) Ik ben een heel makkelijk en open persoon en help graag waar ik kan! Als het bijvoorbeeld gaat om schoonmaken of opruimen, ben ik zeer verantwoordelijk en betrouwbaar. Hoewel ik met andere mensen samen zou wonen, hoop ik niet alleen met huisgenoten te zijn, maar ook af te kunnen spreken met vrienden om bijvoorbeeld af en toe een kook- of filmavond te houden of gaan picknicken. I am a hard-working and curious student who loves meeting new people, especially fellow students. I know that Maastricht University has a large international student body, which is awesome as I love speaking different languages and learning about cultures, and I am also very motivated to learn Dutch! I love hanging out with family, friends, and roommates and going on fun, spontaneous adventures! However, I still enjoy my time alone where I can relax and recharge, and study as well. I love reading, especially fiction, dystopian and post-apocalyptic novels, which carries over to the type of movies and shows I like! I also really enjoy sports, especially trying new ones, although I think rock climbing takes the top spot for me! I am independent and tidy and will participate in household chores, and would love to be a part of a house with fellow students!
