Beste huisgenoten, Komend jaar ga ik aan de TU Delft werktuigbouwkunde of technische natuurkunde studeren en zit de middelbare schooltijd in Maastricht er voor mij bijna op. In mijn vrije tijd vind ik het leuk om te tennissen, skiën, zeilen, duiken, gamen, naar de sportschool te gaan en met vrienden af te spreken. Als echte Bourgondiër houd ik van lekker eten, koken en gezelligheid. Om mij snel thuis te voelen in Delft wil ik lid worden van een studentenvereniging en wil ik graag in een studentenhuis wonen. I’m Selma — 20 years old, part Greek and part Albanian (I’ve got both passports) and I moved to Amsterdam almost two years ago. I speak English, Albanian, Greek & Italian fluently and can understand a fair bit of Spanish and some Dutch as well. I work full-time in hospitality: I’m a tour guide at the Rijksmuseum and also do front office shifts at two hostels. Life stays busy, but I’m used to it. I’ve lived both alone and with roommates here in the city, so I know how to respect a shared space and keep things clean and easy. I’ve also dealt with the classic Dutch rental chaos — so yes, I’m fully aware of how contracts, rules, and responsibilities work. I’ve had my own flat for over a year now, but honestly? Living solo gets lonely, and it’s just not worth throwing money at. I thought having my own place in the center was the ultimate flex, but I realized it’s not really it, especially for someone like me who’s still figuring out where life will take me after these next few years I plan on spending in Amsterdam. Another big reason I’m looking to switch is to be smarter with my money — I’d rather invest in experiences that actually make me happy, like traveling or the occasional festivals. I don’t throw house parties and I don't go out much aside from events here and there. I do occasionally host friends from abroad (just a couch and good vibes — nothing disruptive). I’m clean, chill, and respectful — I believe in creating the kind of environment I’d want to live in, and I treat others the way I’d expect to be treated. So, I’m social when the vibe’s right, quiet when it’s not, and always considerate when I have guests. PS. Don't let some of my pictures fool you, my hair's now copper instead of black!

Currently i’m still a student in Italy, who mainly focuses on learning about different languages and cultures (French, German, English and of course Italian). Right now I’m looking for for an apartment or studio in order to pursue my studies at the University of Groningen. I consider myself to be a very social person who does enjoy spending time with someone else but, at the same time, I feel a necessity to focus on myself in order to fulfill my life goals. Moreover, I’m able to cook my own meals and, of course, even for someone else! Normally, I like spending my day either studying, listening to music or simply going for a walk with friends or by myself, even if it means just buying a simple coffee to enjoy and appreciate. Lastly, I feel like I have the need to keep everything around me clean since I can’t stand any kind of disorder either in my room and or shared ones.

Hi, my name is Paul. Originally I'm from Germany but I moved to Utrecht last summer to study Global Sustainability Science at Utrecht University. I am looking for a room in Utrecht, as the rental agreement for the shared flat in short stay student housing I'm living in at the moment will end in August.
