I graduated in "Politics and Society" and "English Studies" from Bonn University and would like to continue my studies at Leiden University. But don't worry, I'm not as boring as my studies sound. I'm an outgoing, communicative person who likes to spend time in nature but also enjoys cozy evenings reading books, writing and watching movies. In my free time, I like to cook, bake and try out new things. The newest addition to that is archery (and I haven't shot anyone yet out of accident, so that's a bonus). Although I like to spend time with other people, I'm a calm person who also appreciates peace and quiet sometimes. So concerning that, I'm a quiet, unobtrusive roommate. Living together is about respecting each others needs and wishes. You want to spend your evening alone or simply sit together for company? That's fine. You want to have long and fun conversations about books, history, TV shows and all things under the sun? Also fine, I'm your woman. So that's me so far. I'd be happy if that sparked your interest. Something else that might be good to know is that I'm fluent in both English and German. I also speak a little Dutch, since I've started to learn it, but so far it's mostly understanding what people say. I moved to the Netherlands for my job in January - I work as a translator for an international travel company - and temporarily lived in a shared house in Diemen. Since the landlord sold the house, I'm looking for a new home starting from June. My office is located in Amsterdam, so I'm looking for a quiet (studio) apartment or a quiet room in a shared apartment close to a train station or metro/tram/bus stop with good connections to "Amsterdam Bijlmer Arena". However, since I work partly from home, a commute of up to an hour is fine to me, and I'm open to accommodation outside of Amsterdam if I can reach the office within a reasonable time. I'm a reliable, tidy and clean tenant and take good care of the space I live in. I'm quiet and am also looking for a quiet space since I work from home on some days. Therefore, I'm also looking for a space with enough room to have a desk and an office chair (apart from the usual bed, closet, etc.). If you offer a room in a shared apartment, please additionally note: I have lived in various shared apartments before and can accommodate to different kind of roommates easily. I'm a nice, quiet (but sociable), tidy and reliable person. I'm respectful towards my roommates' needs, and will always treat shared spaces and your privacy with care.

I am a 29 year old girl from Serbia, been living here since April 2022, although Amsterdam was my favorite city since I first moved here for two years before the pandemic. Mijn naam is Marjan en ik ben zestien jaar. Momenteel zit ik als havoleerling in mijn eindexamenjaar, maar volgend jaar hoop ik als studente Journalistiek in Tilburg te wonen. In mijn vrije tijd doe ik graag atletiek, lezen en het liefst van al afspreken en leuke uitstapjes doen met vrienden. Op dit moment woon ik in Waterlandkerkje, een klein dorpje gelegen in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, in Zeeland. The two of us are Designers and living in Amsterdam for more than a year now. We are both born in France and together since almost 5 years. Whether it’s cozy evenings cooking together in the kitchen or simply watching tv series on the sofa, we’re eager to find a home where we can continue building our story. Thomas is a Senior Designer and has been working for a Design agency located in Berlin and Los Angeles for the past 4 years. As for myself, Coline, I work at Philips Domestic Appliances (Versuni) as a freelance Product Designer, in a permanent position in the team (see proof of engagement letter attached in our folder). We are both very quiet and clean, non-smokers and committed to maintaining a clean and orderly living space. Both being designers, we take great care of the environment we live in, as it needs to be for us a constant source of inspiration and well-being.

Hoii, ik ben Noor. Ik ga volgend jaar biomedische wetenschappen studeren aan de universiteit van Maastricht. Ik zou mezelf kunnen omschrijven als best wel opgeruimd en vrij rustig, maar ik hou ook heel veel van gezelligheid en leuke dingen doen. Ik sport graag, maar ik kan ook goed los gaan op een techno of D&B feest. Ik ben echt fan van lekker eten dus ik kook graag uitgebreid met veel kruiden enzo.
