Hello:) So my name is Elza, I'm from Riga, Latvia. I moved to Amsterdam at the end of August 2023. My current student accommodation contract ends in August this year.

Hoihoi, Ik ben Stijn en ik ga aankomende jaar Werktuigbouwkunde opnieuw proberen. Na Werktuigbouwkunde is het plan om Biomedical Engineering te doen om protheses te kunnen maken (als ik statica haal ;-;). Onder mijn hobby's vallen boogschieten, bordspelletjes, koken en uitgaan. Ik drink geen alcohol en ik gebruik ook geen andere drugs maar dat weerhoud me niet om aan de gezelligheid mee te doen. Ik ben over het algemeen erg netjes, niet alleen in woonruimtes maar ook in de omgang. Ik kook vaak en probeer vaak iets nieuws te maken. Indien er een probleem is zal ik dat snel oplossen. Ik ben op zoek naar een kamer van minstens 8 mm^2 in Delft en met een budget van 1000 euro (niet 1000 euro voor 8mm^2 naturlich ). Daarnaast is een kamer met een ietwat schone keuken en een paar gezellige huisgenoten gewenst. Help, ik wil niet meer dakloos zijn.

I am Carmen, 29, originally from Austria and currently, I work as Marketing Manager at a Sales company in Houthaven (and loving it!) Initially, I moved here to study, but, eventually, I fell in love with the Netherlands and decided to stay 🤍 Where do I live now and why am I moving? Currently, I live in an apartment in Nieuw-West with one roommate, however, my rental contract was only one year, so now is the time for me to look for a new place I can call home. When am I moving? I am looking for a room from June onward but I am flexible and can also move in sooner! Am I tidy? I am Austrian, I think being organized and tidy is in our DNA 😄 But seriously, I think when sharing your living space it's important to clean up after yourself and just be considerate of one another (and have open communication!) Who else am I bringing? No one! It's just me and my 3 plants (but they are barely hanging on for dear life… so we'll see if they make it) BUT I am always buying fresh flowers (see picture as a reference 🌸) What do I do when I am not working? Generally, I am a quite quiet and relaxed person. Since my job is very demanding, I am usually tired when I get home. However, I am always up for a chat :) Weekends I either spend with friends at a nice brunch spot, go to a museum, the gym, or a nice walk, or just relax with a nice book. Am I a party girl? On a good day, I barely make it to 11.00 pm before I hit the bed 😴 but then again, if you wanna have a glass of wine in the kitchen and talk about life...say less 🍷 Some other things you should know? I don't have any pets, I don't smoke and I would like to rent a room for at least 1 year, but preferably longer if that's possible. Hello! I am a 21 year old Korean/Irish student starting the Computer Science course at TUDelft this September. I just finished my mandatory military service in Korea (I've completed lots of side quests like mowing, fixing cars, sweeping snow and cleaning, lots, LOTS of cleaning) so I have a degree of tidiness reinforced in me! I am currently looking for accommodation (like everyone else on this website ofc), preferrably shared since it's my first year living independently. For the majority of the time, I will be suffering in my room to try keep up with my studies, but as an extrovert, I will most likely not be able to refuse any invitations for a social event 😎 I might be hard to get along with if you like to live life a little more... carefree/spontaneous but I am willing to take up more of the cleaning duties if that will help keep accommodation tidy. As a hobby, I like working out and boxing, and I am trying to get back into reading (mostly non-fiction) and I wouldn't mind any recommendations! Oh also, if you like listening to lots of different genre of music, I think we will get along really well. Let me know if you think I could be your next possible roommate :)

Na de zomer begin ik met de studie geneeskunde in Utrecht. Ik woon op dit moment in Drenthe en ben ik dus op zoek naar een kamer. Afgelopen zomer heb ik 2 maand in Frankrijk op een camping in de animatie gewerkt. Nu heb ik een tussenjaar en werk 32 uur in de week. Ik ben een gezellig, sociaal en net persoon. Looking for a room while i find a place to rent on my own. I do not work from home, my job is physical. I am a private, clean person.

I am renting out some space from my apartment. Since I also will stay in the apartment I will be your host (not a student), and as we may spend some time in the same apartment it may be a good idea to share some info about myself. I am broadly interested. I consider myself a social person. I like to be in contact with other people from all kinds of origin and like to talk about all kinds of subjects. I am an alpha as well as a beta person, I am into technical stuff as well as into languages. I do a lot of fitness at home. I have done all kinds of interesting things mostly on the area of IT, but have stopped working on a fixed position for a while now. I am not the type working with a fixed agenda, I eat when I want, sleep when I want, go out where and when I want, but I am quite punctial with my appointments and rules. Also I keep all my business in good order. I am rather experienced with renting to expats, young foreigners and Dutch people, though not in the house where I live myself, so this is new to me, but I am open to new things.

I will be moving to Groningen to study Human Geography and Planning (starting 1.9.2024). Currently I live in Hannover, Germany and work as a software developer in a small company. I would like to live in a shared flat to get to know the culture and of course the language. It would be great if the flat was within biking distance from the university, but more importantly it should have a good atmosphere and nice flatmates. I have been living in shared flats for the last 8 years, so let's say I have some experience in living with people.

Ik ben een student International Business aan NHL Stenden en werk momenteel als Manager bij Direct Result. Momenteel ben ik op zoek naar een nieuwe woning in Leeuwarden, en hier is waarom: Mijn werk, school, sportschool en vrienden bevinden zich allemaal in Leeuwarden. Ondanks het feit dat mijn auto recentelijk het loodje heeft gelegd, vind ik het eigenlijk voordeliger om in Leeuwarden te wonen dan om een nieuwe auto te kopen. Ik ben een betrouwbare huurder, netjes en verantwoordelijk. Ik geniet ervan om mijn ruimte opgeruimd en gezellig te houden. zoek gewoon een plekje om tot rust te komen!
