Het lijkt me superleuk om met huisgenoten een borreltje te doen of een filmavond te houden, maar ik doe natuurlijk ook gewoon graag m'n eigen ding, zoals de nieuwste series kijken, sporten en een beetje gamen. Hey, my name is Kerrin, I´m 24 and a soon to be Master´s student from Germany looking for a place to live in Leiden or close by that ideally comes with nice people to live with and will hopefully feel like a home for the next few years. I´m currently finishing my Bachelor´s of molecular medicine in Tübingen, Germany, and will specialize in Biology and Science Communication in the future. Being interested in communication also means that I put great emphasis on a well-functioning communication in a shared flat and with people in general. It is very important to me that everyone´s needs can be talked about and are respected (including e.g. clean common spaces, quiet times, consideration of stressfull times, etc.). I´ve lived in two different shared flats and a student residence so far and loved the feeling of community and activities like cooking together, trips, or board game nights. I´m not much of a party person but will always be happy to join you for a cup of coffee or a walk on the beach. My friends describe me as empathetic, determined, well-organized, and funny and in my free time I like to be creative, spend time outside or cooking, meeting friends over a coffee, or learn a new language. Besides English and German, I´ve had fun learning Swedish and am currently getting into Spanish and Dutch. It would be great to have flatmates who could see themselves contributing to my Dutch too. Perks of living with me would include that I can take very good care of your plants while you´re away and that I have lots of great recipes from my time working at the bakery of my favorite café. Hello, my name is Emily. I´m from Germany, 20 yo and a soon to be Psychology Student at RUG. I will be starting my studies in September and hope to have found a place by August. As a tenant I´m reliable, tidy and considerate. I´d consider myself a pretty calm person and value cleanliness and personal space. Since I´m more of an introvert, I like to spend time by myself, but don´t mind some company every now and then. I have always been a huge bookworm, like gaming and all sorts of sportive activities. I´m looking forward to finding a place to call home for the next years.

Hello, my name is Benedetta and I am looking for a room to rent in The Hague. I'm Italian and I live in Rome. I will start the BA of International Studies at Leiden University, at The Hague campus in September. I'm a polite, quiet and independent girl since I already lived abroad by myself last year in Vancouver - Canada for an exchange year. I'm looking for a no-smoking house for at least a one year long period because I will hopefully stay in The Hague for at least three years. I need a regular contract for the registration at the municipality, and I need the room from August 2024, but if I find the right solution I can anticipate the starting date of the contract.

I am a 19 y/o starting a university this September and am trying to find a home. I wish to make meaningful friendships in a peaceful and clean household. During weekdays, most of the time I remain focused on my studies and working out. Even though I can have much fun going out, I prefer recharging with a relaxing weekend.

Hey, I'm Jana, 20 years old, from Frankfurt Germany. I will start my international bachelor's degree in psychology in Leiden in September. So I'm looking for a room in Leiden/near Leiden from June/July/August on. About me: I graduated from high school last summer and decided to travel Europe. There I worked in different hostels and always shared a dorm with the other lovely volunteers. The 4 months have taught me a lot about being independent and tidying up my stuff and keeping things clean. But it helped me even more to learn to share a room with so many other people from other cultures and to live together and set boundaries as well as to accept those of others. Apart from traveling, I love going out with friends for a few drinks, dancing to house music and wine evenings on the balcony. On the other hand, I also love having really quiet evenings where we just sit together relax, chat, maybe cook and watch a movie. In my free time I go to the gym regularly. And just recently I've gotten to do yoga and Pilates a little more, which I also really enjoy. I am also a very creative person who likes to do crafts, paint or make pottery. And I also enjoy doing it with friends! About the room I would imagine a room around 15 m2 in size. But more important about the roomies. 1-3 roommates would be ideal - but I would have absolutely no problem with a larger number of roommates. Of course it would be great if the roommates were about the same age as me. Of course, I think it would be ideal if at some point as roommates you share hobbies and do things together((:
