Hello, I'm looking for a room in Groningen. I will start my Master's in September at RUG, so I am looking for a place in the city.

 I am originally from Iran and currently completing my PhD in Informatics in Austria, where I have been living for almost five years. I have experience with various living arrangements, including student housing. Additionally, I shared accommodations with an Italian housemate, and we remain close friends even after four years. I also had two shorter stays with Iranian housemates, both of which were positive experiences. And currently, I am living in an Apartment in Austria.  As a tenant, I am quiet, clean, polit, reliable, and considerate of others. I enjoy spending time with people and am known by my friends, family, and colleagues as a friendly, supportive, and nice individual. In my free time, I love cooking, watching movies and playing indoor soccer, which help me connect with others and maintain a balanced lifestyle. I can provide proof of income to confirm my ability to meet rent obligations. Additionally, I have a valid Austrian residence permit until March 2027.  My Netherlands residence permit will initially be valid for one year.  I am available to move in between January 15-20, 2025.

Hi! I'm Alex, a responsible and easy-going student looking for a long-term rental (room or studio) starting between in July 2025. I'm a first-year Maths undergraduate at the University of Groningen and am currently searching for a private room in a shared flat or a studio nearby or well-communicated with Zernike Campus. Currenlty, I am staying at student accommodation (SSH), sharing a flat with 7 more students and get-on well with all of them. Unfortunately, I cannot continue living in this accommodation next year, thus I am searching for a new place. I am a clean, responsible, and financially reliable. I am very focused on my studies and value a quiet, well-organised home. While I study hard, I am also sociable and enjoy the occasional shared meal or conversation with housemates. My ideal rental would be in a quiet and well-connected neighborhood in or around Groningen, where students or young professionals typically live. I am flexible on the move-in date (July–August 2025) and strongly prefer a 12-month lease, with the intention to extend for at least another academic year.
