Hello everyone, my name is Gianmarco and I am a young Italian chemical engineer who will start working as a research trainee at the University of Amsterdam from June 2024. In my future job I will be busy from Monday to Friday from morning to evening, so I will not spend much time at home during working hours. I am a big fan of technology, video games, cooking, art and music, but don't worry, I know how to use headphones! I would like to find accommodation in a youthful environment, which would allow me to make new friends and fully experience this wonderful city.

I'm 25 year old student currently living in Groningen for my studies. I'm moving to Utrecht to be closer to work and so I'm on the look out for a nice place and flatmates, as I will be in need of some friends :) I've shared an appartment for 4 years during my bachelor's with 3 other girls and loved the experience! Made friends for life and always had company for everything (from chilling to partying). Because of that, I also learned to share responsabilities and keep the place tidy and clean so that it's a nice place for everyone to live. And of course, to respect people's personal space haha. I've also lived in a student house for 7 months in 2022 while in my Erasmus in Zurich, where I shared a flat with other 14 international students. Also a great experience! A little bit about me: I'm a very social person, love to go out or to just hang out, but I also enjoy a great cosy night in watching movies and series or playing games. I graduated in "Politics and Society" and "English Studies" from Bonn University and would like to continue my studies at Leiden University. But don't worry, I'm not as boring as my studies sound.
