Hello! I am a prospective student at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen starting September, and I'm looking for a room to rent for the duration of my studies. I will be studying international relations, which is a subject I'm very passionate about! To pursue this, I am looking for accomodation starting this summer or fall. I've lived in flatshares for most of my previous studies, so I'm well-accustomed to living with others! I've also lived in a lot of different countries before - Germany, France, Canada, Mexico, India and Japan for example. I love getting to know new countries, new people and overall, cultural exchange and openness are very important to me when living abroad, especially towards the host country. As a roommate, I value exchange, respect and cleanliness in my sleeping area. I believe communication on how to live together comfortably is key. Is there a cleaning plan, or not? Do we value spending time together, or more of a private living arrangement? Beyond that, I have a dust allergy, so I keep my room very clean. Financially, I have always been a very reliable tenant. I am tidy, organised, and respectful of shared spaces, and I will not be bringing many belongings with me. I prefer furnished apartments or studios, but I am also open to sharing. As an international student, it is important that I am able to register at the address with the Leiden municipality (for my BSN). I am looking for long-term accommodation with a budget of up to €850 per month (utilities included). I can provide proof of financial stability, including a bank statement and a guarantor if required. I will also be able to provide my university admission letter once it is received. My rent will be financially supported through the Norwegian State Educational Loan Fund, and I also have personal savings. Ik vind het leuk om te wandelen, te tekenen, te lezen en te bakken. Dit zijn dingen waar ik ontspanning in vind.
