I am living alone, my two children are living on their own and I would like now to have some company. I am retired, was working my whole life at the university as professor (computing science and cognitive psychology). I have a nice garden, working in it is my new hobby; I like to cook but also I like to learn new dishes! So we have to see what we can do together. My hobbies are reading, especially about history, e.g. history of Amsterdam, and following politics in USA and the Netherlands. Further, I like to watch soccer, Ajax is (still) my favorite team, and like to follow professional bicycling. So in general I am a quiet person, and I hope the student will also be quiet. I would like to see an independent tenant but at the same time I am happy to provide assistance when needed and to tell you things about Amsterdam and the Netherlands. I am curious to the life where you come from, and I hope that the same applies to you. Preferably you are studying at one of the universities in Amsterdam. It is important for me that the student is here in Amsterdam for studying and not for holidays, so putting the study on the first place. So I prefer a student who is doing a Master or involved with a PhD project

Hello everybody, I’m Alex (24) and currently in my first year of my masters. Having lived in the Netherlands before, I am capable of understanding some dutch, speaking it myself still poses a great challenge (I’m on it, I promise 😔) So far, I’ve not only shared an apartment to save money but to also do activities with my flatmates. From just talking in the evenings, playing board games to going out together etc. and I would like to continue doing so. But of course, everybody needs his/her privacy as well, especially after long days at uni. I’d describe myself as a clean and tidy person and I'd like my roommates to contribute to a clean flat as well. Spanish student : year 2 of Aerospace at Tu Delft. 2024-2025 I am looking for a 'room' or 'apartment to share´for the 2024-2025 academic year at -or close to- the Tu DelftCampus. Lived in a DUWO residence in my year 1 with Marter's students. I really value the tranquility of this area and the proximity to the library, university, Echo building, etc. and this helps me a lot ; then I would like to find something in the same area for the following academic years. I have a calm profile, fully dedicated to studying and I really value living in this area to help my concentration and peace of mind. My parents pay my expenses completely. Demonstrable solvency.
