I'm Jannis. I'm originally from Chalkida, Greece, but I've been living in Amsterdam for the past five years. I'm a painter (studied fine arts in the university of Athens), currently I'm working as a data engineer, and I work a pretty normal 8-5 schedule. During the week, I'm usually in bed by 10:30 and up by 6. I would describe myself as an easy going and independent person. I'm social, but also appreciate my time alone. I appreciate having guests but am mindful of other's comfort, and would always be open and communicative about having people over, and much the same would appreciate room mates to be open with me as well. I'm open to developing friendships but do not see this as a top priority in searching for a roommate. It is important to have a good level of understanding and respect of our mutual space. I like to keep my living space clean and organized and am the type of person to wash dishes as they are made. I'm looking to move in sometime during June. I'm hoping to find a house near Amsterdam Oost region. I would like my own bedroom, and I'm open to living with 1-3 other people. Ideally, the house would have a yard or at least a porch. If the bedrooms are sized differently enough to justify different prices, I'm happy staying in the larger or smaller room.

Hey, my name is Finja and I come from Hanover (Germany). I am currently doing my master's thesis at the RadboudUMC (6 months). Unfortunately, I have to leave my current room in Nijmegen at the end of May, which is why I am looking for a new room from the beginning of June until mid/end of September. But now a few facts about me. I am 26 years old and studying biomedicine in the Master's program at the University Hospital. In my free time I like to cook or bake, and play board games with my friends. I also enjoy reading, handicrafts and go swimming. During my vacations I like to travel to different cities in Europe and take a lot of photos of the buildings and the architecture. I'm a tidy and reliable tenant who doesn't smoke. Hey, my name is Kerrin, I´m 24 and a soon to be Master´s student from Germany looking for a place to live in Leiden or close by that ideally comes with nice people to live with and will hopefully feel like a home for the next few years. I´m currently finishing my Bachelor´s of molecular medicine in Tübingen, Germany, and will specialize in Biology and Science Communication in the future. Being interested in communication also means that I put great emphasis on a well-functioning communication in a shared flat and with people in general. It is very important to me that everyone´s needs can be talked about and are respected (including e.g. clean common spaces, quiet times, consideration of stressfull times, etc.). I´ve lived in two different shared flats and a student residence so far and loved the feeling of community and activities like cooking together, trips, or board game nights. I´m not much of a party person but will always be happy to join you for a cup of coffee or a walk on the beach. My friends describe me as empathetic, determined, well-organized, and funny and in my free time I like to be creative, spend time outside or cooking, meeting friends over a coffee, or learn a new language. Besides English and German, I´ve had fun learning Swedish and am currently getting into Spanish and Dutch. It would be great to have flatmates who could see themselves contributing to my Dutch too. Perks of living with me would include that I can take very good care of your plants while you´re away and that I have lots of great recipes from my time working at the bakery of my favorite café. I'm a reliable, tidy and clean tenant and take good care of the space I live in. I'm quiet and am also looking for a quiet space since I work from home on some days. Therefore, I'm also looking for a space with enough room to have a desk and an office chair (apart from the usual bed, closet, etc.).
