I'm a Portuguese 23-year old and I'm going to be a first year in International Relations in the University of Groningen starting this September! I've recently come back from working in the U.S.A and before that I've lived in another city here in Portugal so I'm pretty used to living with people. I'm a chill person and generally keep to myself but I honestly don't mind hanging out! Hobby-wise I play a lot of MTG (the card game), jog and read. I would love to hear from you guys and maybe be your future housemate!

Hoi allemaal, Ik ben Koen en ik studeer sinds vorig jaar commerciële economie aan de HU. Na het behalen van mijn propedeuse heb ik net voor mijn tweede jaar een half jaar stage bij Twelve(betalingssystemen) in Utrecht gelopen. Hey, my name is Kerrin, I´m 24 and a soon to be Master´s student from Germany looking for a place to live in Leiden or close by that ideally comes with nice people to live with and will hopefully feel like a home for the next few years. I´m currently finishing my Bachelor´s of molecular medicine in Tübingen, Germany, and will specialize in Biology and Science Communication in the future. Being interested in communication also means that I put great emphasis on a well-functioning communication in a shared flat and with people in general. It is very important to me that everyone´s needs can be talked about and are respected (including e.g. clean common spaces, quiet times, consideration of stressfull times, etc.). I´ve lived in two different shared flats and a student residence so far and loved the feeling of community and activities like cooking together, trips, or board game nights. I´m not much of a party person but will always be happy to join you for a cup of coffee or a walk on the beach. My friends describe me as empathetic, determined, well-organized, and funny and in my free time I like to be creative, spend time outside or cooking, meeting friends over a coffee, or learn a new language. Besides English and German, I´ve had fun learning Swedish and am currently getting into Spanish and Dutch. It would be great to have flatmates who could see themselves contributing to my Dutch too.
