Hi, I'm Nico. I’m from London, I’m half Spanish and half Indian, and I speak English and Spanish (and am starting to learn Dutch). After studying maths at Cambridge, I’ve spent the last two years teaching in schools, and now will be starting the Mathematical Sciences MSc in Utrecht in September. I take my studies very seriously, but I'm eager to make friends and lots of memories. Besides learning (maths, science, philosophy, history, etc.), I love music (listening and sometimes playing/singing) and chilling with friends, as well as parkour, bouldering, and videogames from time to time. If I had to pick particular characteristics, I would describe myself as open, thoughtful, and easy-going, and as a resident I am clean, careful, and considerate.

Na de zomer begin ik met de studie geneeskunde in Utrecht. Ik woon op dit moment in Drenthe en ben ik dus op zoek naar een kamer. Afgelopen zomer heb ik 2 maand in Frankrijk op een camping in de animatie gewerkt. Nu heb ik een tussenjaar en werk 32 uur in de week. Ik ben een gezellig, sociaal en net persoon. Hi ik ben Marjolein! Ik ben 24 jaar en ik zoek een leuk appartement voor mijzelf Leiden. Ik zit in de afrondende fase van mijn studie fiscaal recht en ondertussen ben ik werkzaam bij Deloitte. Ik ben een rustige meid met een druk leven. In mijn vrije tijd roei ik graag en ik ben daarom ook lid van Asopos de Vliet. Ik hou daarnaast heel erg van reizen. I have already obtained a degree in Comparative Literature Studies and will be starting another Bachelor in Psychology in September of 2024 at Leiden University. Therefore I am currently on the lookout for possible housing opportunities, where I can stay for the duration of my studies. I consider myself an easy-going person, who enjoys a little company from time to time, but can easily keep to myself as well. In the past I have already had lots of experiences living by myself as well as host families. Therefore I believe that I am rather knwoledgeable about how the process of renting a room and the interactions and obligations that come with it work. In my free time I love to read, go to cafes, meet up with friends and relax in my room. I think I have a lot of qualities that might prove to be of importance when considering me as a tenant, since I am tidy, organized, straightforward and, above all else, very passionate about my goals. I don't need a lot of space, since I can manage with the bare minimum, and am financially stable, which I am happy to provide proof of. Hey, my name is Kerrin, I´m 24 and a soon to be Master´s student from Germany looking for a place to live in Leiden or close by that ideally comes with nice people to live with and will hopefully feel like a home for the next few years. I´m currently finishing my Bachelor´s of molecular medicine in Tübingen, Germany, and will specialize in Biology and Science Communication in the future. Being interested in communication also means that I put great emphasis on a well-functioning communication in a shared flat and with people in general. It is very important to me that everyone´s needs can be talked about and are respected (including e.g. clean common spaces, quiet times, consideration of stressfull times, etc.). I´ve lived in two different shared flats and a student residence so far and loved the feeling of community and activities like cooking together, trips, or board game nights. I´m not much of a party person but will always be happy to join you for a cup of coffee or a walk on the beach. My friends describe me as empathetic, determined, well-organized, and funny and in my free time I like to be creative, spend time outside or cooking, meeting friends over a coffee, or learn a new language. Besides English and German, I´ve had fun learning Swedish and am currently getting into Spanish and Dutch. It would be great to have flatmates who could see themselves contributing to my Dutch too. Perks of living with me would include that I can take very good care of your plants while you´re away and that I have lots of great recipes from my time working at the bakery of my favorite café. Ik heb een kleine, rustige hondje. Zijn gedrag is altijd goed, was het geen probleem met hem in de andere huur woningen. Het inschrijving is belangrijk voor mij. * I’m interested in the room to rent. I work as an logistics employee at Waternet. My incoming is net 2800 euro per month. I’m a calm person with a normal lifestyle. I have a calm, small dog. His behavior is always perfect, there was never problem with him in another rental rooms. The registration with the municipality is very important for me.
