Hii!! Ik ben Sanne, een eerstejaars psychology studente aan de Radboud Universiteit. Ik ben een erg rustig persoon en ben graag op mezelf. Natuurlijk vind ik het nog wel gezellig om soms iets te doen met vrienden, maar ik ben geen fan van uitgaan en ga liever voor een cafeetje of activiteit samen. In mijn vrije tijd ben ik erg creatief, ik hou van dingen als haken, tekenen, sierraden maken en wil dit jaar leren borduren. In het weekend werk ik bovendien in een verzorgingstehuis, wat mij zowel een inkomen geeft als een gevoel dat ik iets kan bijdragen aan de wereld. Het zou mij erg leuk lijken om in een plekje te wonen waar iedereen elkaars ruimte respecteert en waar iets samen doen geen verplichting is. Natuurlijk vind ik het wel leuk om soms even een praatje te maken, en wie weet wat er zou gebeuren als het echt goed klikt. Ik kan goed omgaan met een schoonmaakrooster en ben over sowieso iemand die ervan houd om dingen een beetje opgeruimd en netjes te houden. For me, home is a place to relax after my hectic day at work/school, and in my free time, I love to cook and knit while watching a good movie. I would consider myself to be a calm and tidy person who likes to keep her home in order and maintained. Additionally, in the case of a shared house, I appreciate roommates who take collective responsibility for the common spaces. I am non-smoking and do not have any pets. This is not my first time living alone either, so I am not looking for my first apartment. I came to the Netherlands to do my PhD in artificial intelligence, and for the past 3 years I have been working as a Lecturer in AI at the University of Groningen. Starting in June, I will begin a new position at Leiden University as a Lecturer in the Computer Science department. I am looking for a temporary place in Leiden for up to six months, where I can stay three to four nights per week while I get to know the city better and search for a permanent place. I am calm, tidy, respectful of shared spaces, and I do not smoke. I am also married, and in Groningen I currently host a student in one of the rooms in my house. Because of that, I know how important it is to live in a way that is considerate, relaxed, and pleasant for everyone in the home. In my free time, I enjoy going to the gym, playing table tennis, and going for walks in the park. I like having a friendly chat, but I also value quiet time and personal space. I also like pets and am very comfortable living with them, as I used to have a dog at home.

Hello! I'm a self-employed multidisciplinary creative professional (photographer/creative director/media background) who relocated to the Netherlands from the U.S. in February. I have a valid visa & residence permit, a business registered with the KvK, a growing network of Dutch friends and a sense of community, having previously spent extended stays in the NL twice in two years. This time, my move is permanent. I have never felt more at home than I do with my feet in the ground in the Netherlands. I am in LOVE with Het Gooi region, where I'm and am temporarily staying. I know every trail, every neighborhood, farm and public transport access from Bussum, Huizen and Blaricum to Laren and Hilversum. I'm also familiar with Naarden, LOVE Baarn, Hoorn, Haarlem, Amersfoot and Den Haag - where I have friends. I'm aware of the housing shortage, and will happily consider any availability within a 90-minute commute by public transportation to Amsterdam, where much of my work seems to be. I have an excellent rental history and personal references and I care for my space. I have a green thumb, love people, adore animals, art, am newly enthusiastic about golf, opera, and even the raindrops most complain about - there's serenity in gray days, too! I would love my independence and a studio or apartment, but I also understand the housing shortage yields few or unaffordable rentals, so I'd be open to discussing sharing in a bright, comfortable place with someone kind and respectful, who appreciates some privacy and room to breathe. :) I have no pets, but huge bonus if you do! ;) Registration is necessary. Hello :-) I'm from Poland, but I lived in the UK for two years. Now, I'm in Groningen, studying physics and math at RUG. It's my second year. People tell me I'm pretty chill and super organized. I really love art and music. Drawing is something I find easy, and I play the piano. Oh, and origami! I've gotten really good at it :-) But, what I want to do in the future is science. I love talking about all sorts of things and hearing what other people think. And I've done a lot of volunteering, which has been really cool. I'm pretty independent, and I get really excited about things that interest me. But I always try to be respectful of what other people think. And if there's a science project, I'm usually in! Helping people comes naturally to me, but I try not to be bossy about it. Right now I'm looking for a room for my third year of studies, or maybe even longer! Pola :-)
