Mijn naam is Emma-Jane. Ik ben 27 jaar en werk als onderzoeker bij het Erasmus MC. Vanwege omstandigheden moest ik mijn eerdere woonruimte verlaten. Nu ben ik op zoek naar een fijne woning voor mijzelf. Omdat ik de laatste fase van mijn onderzoek inga, is stabiliteit en een vaste woonplek voor mij erg belangrijk. Ik kom oorspronkelijk uit Zuid-Afrika. Na mijn studie in Duitsland ben ik naar Nederland gekomen voor mijn PhD-onderzoek. Ik begrijp Nederlands goed en kan het ook goed schrijven. Zelf spreken vind ik nog wat lastiger, maar ik ben het actief aan het leren. Daarnaast ben ik al geruime tijd in een stabiele en toegewijde relatie. Toch woon ik graag zelfstandig, omdat ik merk dat dit het beste werkt voor mijn onderzoek en werkzaamheden. Een rustige eigen woonruimte helpt mij om mij volledig op mijn werk te kunnen concentreren. In mijn vrije tijd breng ik graag tijd door met vrienden en ben ik graag in de natuur. Vooral een lange fietstocht langs een meer of de zee vind ik heerlijk. Nou ik ben Shanté, ik ben 19 jaar ik zit nog in mijn opleiding mbo sport en bewegen. Mijn hobby is basketbal ik doe dit op hoog niveau en ben daar veel mee bezig ik train 3 keer in de week + een wedstrijd. In dagelijks leven hou ik ervan om met mijn familie te zijn en leuke dingen te doen buiten dat vind ik buiten wandelen heel leuk en films kijken of gewoon lekker kletsen. Waarom ik hier zou willen wonen is omdat ik het een mooie ruime kamer vind en omdat ik heel graag mijn studie wil afronden. Ik heb namelijk nog geen dimploma weten te halen en ik heb geluk gehad dat ik toch in het mbo terecht kon komen. ( dit kon alleen in Amersfoort of Leiden) daarom ben ik heel gedreven om mijn studie af te ronden en met een diploma te slagen.
