Hey, ik ben madelief van der Klip. Ik ben 18 jaar oud en studeer op dit moment biologie in Wageningen, maar ik ga in September van studie wisselen en wiskunde studeren in Delft. Ik werk full-time bij een non-profit in Den Haag die zich richt op internationaal ontwikkelingswerk en het versterken van lokale regeringen in conflict- en ontwikkelingslanden. Als geboren Amsterdammer ben ik enthousiast om op weer op zoek te zijn naar een kamer in Amsterdam nadat ik een hele tijd in Barcelona en Montreal heb gewoond! Als huisgenoot ben ik een sociale, nette, en rustige jongen. Ik hou erg van koken en ben dus zeker vaak te porren voor een goede maaltijd met een drankje erbij. Qua hobbies kan je me vaak vinden in de bergen op een beklimming of in de boulderhal. Ook maak ik veel (analoge) foto's en bak ik brood! Ik werk full-time, dus als huisgenoot zal ik niet altijd thuis zijn. Ik hecht zelf veel waarde aan een fijn thuis. Ik vind het dus fijn om met respect en vriendelijkheid met elkaar te wonen zodat ons huis ook echt een thuis is! Verder ben ik netjes en zal af en toe een goede appeltaart of lasagne maken voor mijn huisgenoten ;) ----- Hello! I'm Mats, 25 years old and a starting worker. I love cooking, so I'm often up for a good meal with a drink. In terms of hobbies, you can often find me climbing in the mountains or at the bouldering gym. I also take a lot of (analog) photos and bake bread! I work full-time, so I won't always be home. I value a nice home atmosphere, so I appreciate living with respect and kindness towards each other to make our house truly feel like home! Hi! My name is Alicia. I have been studying Philosophy at the Radboud University for the past year. Right now I am living independently in a room in Nijmegen. Unfortunately this is temporarily, as the contract will be expired in a few months. I am already looking for a new place, because I fell in love with Nijmegen and already built a life for myself here. Also I would like to take on an extra study next year (biology) and it would be very tough to do this while traveling 3 hrs a day. I would characterise myself als spontaneous, extroverted and creative. I love meeting new people and getting to know them. While I enjoy being with other people, I also enjoy spending time alone every now and then. It is in these moments that I like to go to the gym, or just engage in any physical activity in general. Other hobbies of mine are reading, learning (esp. new languages), chilling with friends, going on adventures (could be just in the city, but I also really like to travel the world), meeting new people and playing the piano every now and then. My first language is Dutch, but since my mother is Ukrainian I am also able to speak some Russian. Besides that I also am able to speak English.

I'm Thomas, a Canadian living in Amsterdam for just over five years now, first as a physics student at the UvA and now as a research scientist developing alkaline battery/power-to-hydrogen devices. Like many Canadians, I grew up enjoying the outdoors and playing ice hockey. The hiking isn't quite as good in Amsterdam as it was in the Rocky Mountains, and I mostly climb indoors now, but I do still get to play/coach ice hockey two nights a week and this time of year I spend many weekends trekking to our away games all over the Netherlands.

Hey there! I am Shreyaank and 22 years old, currently pursuing a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering at UT. I am currently living in a temporary accommodation in Witbreuksweg and therefore looking for something permanent and a cozy student house. I am always down for meals, drinks, games and other social activities together with my housemates. Owing to my outgoing nature, I also like to meet and socialize with new people very much whilst keeping a balance with my studies and personal time. Cooking food is also something about which I am quite passionate, even though it might look as if I don't eat enough as much as I cook! I am also learning Dutch and I try to speak it at the supermarket. Knowing how to speak German helps me to understand the Dutch language as well to a certain extent. Currently, I play Volleyball in the Mix team and am also a member of the Mix Committee of Harambee. Earlier, I played Football as a major sport for 12 years and for a change sometimes, I used to swim and play Table Tennis and Cricket as well. I like to be physically fit and thus find myself going to the gym as well. Overall, I would like to move in with a group of warm and fun people who like to spend time together!
