Ik zal mijzelf even voorstellen: mijn naam is Michiel, 26 jaar, en nu ook al woonachtig in Nijmegen, in een studentenhuis. Ik heb kunstmatige intelligentie gestudeerd, en ik werk nu als promovendus in het Radboudumc, en zou graag een iets grotere en rustigere woning willen. Hiervoor lijkt de aangeboven woning me ideaal. Ik ben ingeloot voor een nieuwbouwwoning, die ik medio 2027 mag betreden. Op dit moment ben ik op zoek naar een woning waarin ik deze overbruggende periode kan doorbrengen. Ik zou mezelf omschrijven als rustig, netjes, en betrouwbaar. In het huidige studentenhuis waar ik in woon zorg ik altijd dat alles goed schoon is. Mijn hobbies zijn verder: lezen, schaken, koken, het leren van Italiaans, hardlopen, en ook ga ik graag naar de sportschool. Verder rook ik niet, en heb ik ook geen huisdieren. Rustige, vriendelijke bewoners

Just recently, I moved to Den Haag to start my 4-year PhD in oceanography at TU Delft, which began in May. To integrate into Dutch culture, I’ll soon be attending a language course and meeting up at a language café every week. For nearly the past 10 years, I’ve lived in shared flats and always had great experiences sharing a home with interesting people from diverse ages, backgrounds, nationalities, and genders. I’m happy to provide references from previous landlord. I’m looking for a long-term rental with a budget of up to €1,100 per month, prefer a room with a desk for work, and am ready to move in by June 15th with all my paperwork prepared. Sharing a home feels best when I can openly talk with my roommates and when it feels like a cozy family. Everyone should have their own space and life, but sharing dinners or breakfasts on the weekend with good food or going for a swim at the beach, or a concert, would be wonderful. As I enjoy cooking a variety of cuisines, I’m happy to keep a tidy and clean kitchen, which makes cooking and living together so much easier. You’ll often find me at Zuiderstrand, Haagse Bos, Meijendel, or anywhere nature calls. I also love to join a good concert or a relaxed evening at the beach. Open communication is key to me in a shared flat, because it makes life smoother and more enjoyable if one simply talks about the good and the bad. It would be great to find a place that quickly turns into a warm home with compatible roommates that are open-minded and tolerant.
