Hey there! We’re Elisa and Valentin, an easygoing German couple who moved to Amsterdam last summer for our master’s degrees. We’ve been together for six years and absolutely love living here - cycling everywhere, exploring the Netherlands and diving into our studies. Now that our student housing is ending, we’re looking for a long-term place to call home. A bit about us: Elisa is studying Physics and will start her Master thesis soon. She loves cooking (especially vegetarian dishes), and doing yoga. Valentin is finishing his Masters in Environment and Resource Management and has been active as resident assistant in our student building, organizing events and helping other international students. In Amsterdam, he especially enjoys exploring the museums. Income situation: We currently both receive full scholarships from different German organizations that total 3000 € per month and we also have some savings. After the summer Valentin will start working as electrical engineer and Elisa will continue to receive her scholarship. As tenants, we’re: Respectful but relaxed. We’re not the type to stress over a few dishes in the sink, but we’ll never leave a mess. We are involved in our work/studies, but we love meeting new people and sharing meals. Reliable. We pay rent on time, communicate openly, and just want a comfy place to live. What we’d love: A room or apartment in Amsterdam (or nearby, with a reasonable commute), whether that’s with housemates or just us. Ideally under 2200€, but we’re flexible for the right spot. Having two separate rooms would be perfect, but we are also used to living together on tight space. We’re not super picky, just looking for somewhere cozy, practical, and with good vibes. Hey! Ik ben Simone, 18 jaar, en ik ga vanaf september Marine Sciences studeren in Wageningen. Na een tussenjaar vol reizen (Azië & Australië!), duiken, surfen en werken heb ik superveel zin om met het studentenleven te beginnen. Mijn oudste zus studeert in Delft en ik ga graag met haar mee stappen, dus ik kijk ernaar uit om ook in Wageningen een gezellige groep mensen om me heen te hebben. Thuis is het altijd lekker druk – ik ben eeneiige tweeling en heb nog een broer en zus – dus samenwonen ben ik wel gewend. Ik hou van gezelligheid in huis: samen eten, kletsen, een spelletje of een biertje, maar vind het ook chill om af en toe gewoon mijn eigen ding te doen. Daarnaast ben ik graag actief bezig: hardlopen, boulderen, tennissen... altijd in voor iets sportiefs. Qua werkervaring heb ik van alles gedaan: gewerkt op een boerderij (shovel rijden & koeien melken, echt leuk 🚜), als serveerster in een snackbar, in de keuken bij Van der Valk, als windsurfinstructeur… Ik pak dingen graag aan en vind het gezellig om samen te koken (kan ik best goed 😋), maar ik vind samen een film kijken op de bank ook helemaal leuk. Ik ben geboren in Londen en heb tweetalig VWO gedaan, dus als er huisgenoten zijn die geen Nederlands spreken, is dat voor mij geen enkel probleem. Ik ben op zoek naar een leuke kamer in een gezellig huis waar altijd wel iets gebeurt, maar waar ook ruimte is om gewoon te relaxen. Lijkt het jullie wat?
