Hello, my name is Sora. I am from the U.S and currently study Linguistics at the University of Amsterdam. I’m a quiet person and very conscientious of other people's personal space. I am interested in living with other students. I do not smoke and am not a partier, but I do look forward to laughs and social time together with roommates. I enjoy reading, hiking, and going to see live music. Ultimately, I'd like to find a long term apartment where I can stay throughout my studies.

I am a clean, sociable and attentive 25yo Masters of Economics student at the UvA coming to the end of my study. I work part time and am looking for something for 3-6 months with possible extension in a respectful space anywhere in Amsterdam. I am not fussy and have so far lived with many international flatmates and built lasting connections. My budget is a maximum of 800 euros incl, and 700 without a contract. Nu woon ik zelf in de buurt van Enschede en zal het best wel ver zijn om elke dag zoveel te reizen. I am originally from the Seattle area in the US where I completed my biology bachelor. I finished my bioinformatics premaster at the VU this year and will go on to start the two year master program next September. As my current lease ends this August, I am looking for somewhere to stay while I complete my studies. I would like to have a clean and calm space to call home, and my ideal roommate(s) would share the same preferences.

I'm 23 and I've been in the Netherlands for almost two years, working in marketing. I'm dedicated to staying in the Netherlands for the long term as I have a Dutch boyfriend and I find the Netherlands to be a great country.

I am Carmen, 29, originally from Austria and currently, I work as Marketing Manager at a Sales company in Houthaven (and loving it!) Initially, I moved here to study, but, eventually, I fell in love with the Netherlands and decided to stay 🤍 Where do I live now and why am I moving? Currently, I live in an apartment in Nieuw-West with one roommate, however, my rental contract was only one year, so now is the time for me to look for a new place I can call home. When am I moving? I am looking for a room from June onward but I am flexible and can also move in sooner! Am I tidy? I am Austrian, I think being organized and tidy is in our DNA 😄 But seriously, I think when sharing your living space it's important to clean up after yourself and just be considerate of one another (and have open communication!) Who else am I bringing? No one! It's just me and my 3 plants (but they are barely hanging on for dear life… so we'll see if they make it) BUT I am always buying fresh flowers (see picture as a reference 🌸) What do I do when I am not working? Generally, I am a quite quiet and relaxed person. Since my job is very demanding, I am usually tired when I get home. However, I am always up for a chat :) Weekends I either spend with friends at a nice brunch spot, go to a museum, the gym, or a nice walk, or just relax with a nice book. Am I a party girl? On a good day, I barely make it to 11.00 pm before I hit the bed 😴 but then again, if you wanna have a glass of wine in the kitchen and talk about life...say less 🍷 Some other things you should know? I don't have any pets, I don't smoke and I would like to rent a room for at least 1 year, but preferably longer if that's possible.
