Hello! My name is Tobias and I'm about to begin my History Masters at RUG. I was born and raised in New York City, and I have three nationalities (Dutch, Brazilian, and American) and frequently visited the Netherlands and Brazil, having lived and worked in all three countries. I recently graduated from Oberlin College this past May, and I will be in Groningen for KEI week. I am looking for housing starting August 1st 2025. Hallo allemaal! Ik ben Gideon, ik ben 32 jaar en ik woon momenteel in Zweden waar ik werk als beeldend kunstenaar. Ik voel al een tijd een sterke drang om terug te keren naar Nederland, en ben nu op zoek naar een woning, het liefst dichtbij de Randstad of in goed verbonden steden zoals Utrecht en Arnhem. Voor mijn werk als kunstenaar heb ik recentelijk een ruime beurs ontvangen waardoor ik financieel in een goeie potitie zit om de overgang te bekostigen. Als huisgenoot ben ik rustig, netjes en sociaal. Ik houd van een open sfeer in huis, heb oog voor anderen en ben altijd bereid om mijn handen uit de mouwen te steken. Ik rook niet en heb ook geen huisdieren. Mijn plan is om na de verhuizing een atelier te huren en daar het meeste van mijn tijd besteden. Daarnaast zal ik wat bijverdienen in de horeca, waar ik enkele jaren ervaring mee heb. Als iemand voor mij een passende woning weet, ben ik heel blij om het te horen! For some time I have felt a strong urge to return to the Netherlands, and I am now looking for a home, preferably close to the Randstad or in well-connected cities like Utrecht and Arnhem. For my work as an artist, I have recently received a generous scholarship, which puts me in good financial position to cover the transition. As a housemate, I am quiet, tidy and sociable. I like an open atmosphere in the house, have an eye for others and am always willing to roll up my sleeves. I do not smoke nor do I have any pets. My plan is to rent a studio after the move and spend most of my time there. I will also earn some extra income in the hospitality industry, which I have several years of experience in. Hi, Ik ben Tinka (17) en ik woon in Zwolle (2,5 uur met de trein naar Delft). Op dit moment doe ik mijn VWO-examen en na de zomer start ik in Delft (TU Bouwkunde). Ik hou ervan om de wereld te ontdekken en te reizen. Deze zomer ga ik met vrienden naar Lissabon en met mijn familie naar Japan. In mijn vrije tijd doe ik aan klimmen, dus de klimwand zoek ik zeker op in Delft. Ik hou verder van koken (en van lekker eten), skiën, spelletjes doen, gezelligheid met vriendinnen en mijn teckel Pien (die blijft helaas in Zwolle).

Hello, I'm Sara and I come from Italy! I'm looking for a room in Utrecht from August, since I'll start my master in Cultural History and Heritage at Utrecht University. I'm excited about moving to the Netherlands to gain new experiences and meet new people. I'm a quiet, organized person already used to living with roommates. I am from New Zealand and have come here to do my Masters! I am an experienced renter/flatmate and can adapt to both a quiet or social flat! I enjoy reading and board games but equally enjoy sports and theatre (tend to do these outside of the home). My focus will be on my studies but I want to explore, learn, and travel Europe while I am on this half of the world! I only speak English but am learning Dutch (on a basic level)
