Hello everyone, I am Paul, a friendly and quiet 33 year old software developer from Scotland looking to find a studio/room to rent. The rental period would roughly be for 6 months. Currently I'm in the process of moving to the Netherlands and this will be my initial base whilst I look for a home to rent. My employer is based within Amsterdam and so I would ideally prefer to find a suitable studio or room within a commutable distance so I would ideally like to find a place within Holland, but I am open to commuting futher. Hobbies include reading, keeping fit and cooking and I'm hoping to find many more to enjoy in the Netherlands! Please reach out if you have any questions :) Paul

Hello, hope you are doing well! I am looking for a place to rent until the end of July 2026 as I will begin my Master's in Artificial Intelligence at UvA in September 2024. I am a motivated 3rd-year Data Science student at the TU/e and TiU, passing all of my courses with high grades. Furthermore, my commitment to self-development allows me to be on track to obtain the cum laude honor on my diploma. In my professional life, I am highly ambitious and this led me to seek and fulfill an internship at ASML. (I intend to take on new challenges when studying in Amsterdam). As a tenant, I am very tidy, organized as well as peaceful. And of course, I transfer every payment on time :). In my free time, I love playing chess - I’ve been competing at the national and international level since I was eight years old, which allowed me to become a medalist at multiple national championships (I also won the Dutch Student Chess Championship in 2023). Thanks to this experience, I am a chess coach which allows me to earn around 300-400 euros a month and gives me a lot of fun. Furthermore, apart from my personal income, I am also financially supported by my family and their income greatly surpasses the rent. Overall, I am a very respectful person and do not cause any disturbance, while also taking care of the place I live in. All this makes me believe that I would be a perfect fit for your apartment.
