Hallo! Ik ben Ratna, kunsthistorica en oudheidkundige. Ik werk in het leukste museum van Nederland, het Archeon in Alphen, waar ik leiding geef aan een hele hoop Romeinse docenten. Ik ben een echte creatieve duizendpoot. Ik zing en dans op hoog niveau, heb twee theaterstukken geschreven en speel als acteur veel, kon naar de tekenacademie, maar ging liever kunstgeschiedenis studeren, geef les aan alle leeftijden, geef lezingen en maak een boel historische kleding voor reenactors en musea over de hele wereld. Ik houd van lezen, studeren (hoe meer vakkennis hoe beter), maar ook van leuke dingen doen met vrienden, zoals een spelletje spelen of een gezellig drankje drinken. Oh ja, ik studeer momenteel naast mijn baan ook nog pedagogiek en opvoedkunde. :) Ik ben een rustig persoon ondanks mijn drukke leven en houdt mijn leefruimte netjes opgeruimd (op de creatieve buien na dan). I'm a PhD candidate at Radboud University and looking for a nice place to stay somewere close by. I'm 24 years old and moved from Germany to Nijmegen about 1.5 years ago. My previous accomodations were temporary and I have to leave my current place mid August at the latest. In case you need the information, my gross salary amounts to 2700€ per month currently. I like sports a lot, so in my free time, one would most likely find me outside, running or hiking, and enjoying nature. Once a week, I go to an orchestra rehearsal of the Canisius Concertband, a wind orchestra here in Nijmegen. Otherwise, I spend most of my time in the lab, between struggling with the facilites and doing exciting science.

Hoi! Ik ben Valesca. Op dit moment ben ik bezig met het schrijven van mijn scriptie voor de studie Communicatiewetenschap aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam. Ik studeer af in de richting Corporate communicatie. Na deze opleiding wil ik de master journalistiek aan de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen gaan volgen. Daarvoor volg ik ook nog de minor Journalistiek aan de RUG volgend jaar. Ik kom uit een redelijk groot gezin (we zijn met zijn 7en thuis), dus ik ben wel wat drukte gewend. Mijn hobby's zijn sport (fietsen en fitness), reizen en ik vind het hartstikke leuk om te bakken!

I’m a 22-year-old student and will start my MSc degree at Erasmus in September. Currently I live in Eindhoven, where I completed my bachelor’s degree. In my time here I come from Poland, however I have lived most of my life in Ireland (13 years), before moving to the Netherlands for university. During my time in Eindhoven, I helped organise activities from my study association, I did a student team part-time and was part of a volleyball team for 3 years, so I like to keep myself busy. In Eindhoven most of my friends were Dutch and spoke Dutch to me, so I can almost fluently understand Dutch, and speaking is a work-in-progress. While I enjoy social activities, I am also an ambitious student; I completed my BSc in 3 years and will follow 2 MSc programs. I am outgoing, but also like to relax at home from time to time whether it is board games or watching a series. I am a tidy person and always clean up after myself. I enjoy cooking and know how to make a meal or two. What I value in a house is a relaxed atmosphere, where there are people to just chill with, but where I can also find some space for myself to relax. I also uploaded some relatively recent pictures which hopefully give a good impression of me :)

Daarnaast werk ik op een bierfestival op meerdere plekken in de randstad. Ik kom oorspronkelijk uit Utrecht en heb ook op Texel gewoond en gewerkt. Nu ben ik opzoek naar een fijn nieuw huis met leuke huisgenoten! Ik hou zeker van wat gezelligheid op z'n tijd maar zie mijn thuis ook als een plek om tot rust te komen.
