We are Rafael, age 32, and Christine, age 35, looking for an apartment in The Hague, or nearby Rafael is a painter and Christine is a multimedia artist, while we both spend a substantial amount of time with our artistic projects in our respective studios. We both work on a self-employed basis with a stable income from different companies/ costumers and project funding. Rafael has been making his living in the events industry for five years since he graduated from Fine Arts KABK (Den Haag), while Christine graduated from Artscience at KABK last year. We are both handy and tidy people taking care of our home and are very fund of cooking, growing plants and gardening as part of an active lifestyle including sports, outdoors and cultural activities. Ik heb hiervoor samengewoond in Dalfsen, maar na een relatiebreuk ben ik nu op zoek naar een nieuwe woonruimte. Mijn hobby's zijn wandelen, buiten sporten (hardlopen en bootcamp) en creatief bezig zijn. Ik geef de voorkeur aan een opgeruimd huis en ben over het algemeen rustig, maar ik geniet wel van gezelligheid en het ondernemen van nieuwe dingen.

My character is adorned with a sense of responsibility, a penchant for tidiness, and a friendly disposition. Additionally, I possess an extensive knowledge of cinema, a passion I hold dear. Music is another sphere where my tastes roam freely, encompassing diverse genres, albeit with a notable exception for country. When it comes to literature, the works of Albert Camus or Franz Kafka resonate deeply with me. While I relish the prospect of cultivating meaningful bonds with my future roommates, I equally value moments of calm, whether it's indulging in cinematic delights or unwinding with a good book, especially after a hectic day.

Hey, my name is Kerrin, I´m 24 and a soon to be Master´s student from Germany looking for a place to live in Leiden or close by that ideally comes with nice people to live with and will hopefully feel like a home for the next few years. I´m currently finishing my Bachelor´s of molecular medicine in Tübingen, Germany, and will specialize in Biology and Science Communication in the future. Being interested in communication also means that I put great emphasis on a well-functioning communication in a shared flat and with people in general. It is very important to me that everyone´s needs can be talked about and are respected (including e.g. clean common spaces, quiet times, consideration of stressfull times, etc.). I´ve lived in two different shared flats and a student residence so far and loved the feeling of community and activities like cooking together, trips, or board game nights. I´m not much of a party person but will always be happy to join you for a cup of coffee or a walk on the beach. My friends describe me as empathetic, determined, well-organized, and funny and in my free time I like to be creative, spend time outside or cooking, meeting friends over a coffee, or learn a new language. Besides English and German, I´ve had fun learning Swedish and am currently getting into Spanish and Dutch. It would be great to have flatmates who could see themselves contributing to my Dutch too. Pearks of living with me would include that I can take very good care of your plants while you´re away and that I have lots of great recipes from my time working at the bakery of my favorite café. Hello! I'm Meril, a 20-year-old student from Cyprus. If you're not familiar, Cyprus is a charming island known for its delicious food and friendly, sociable people. While I adore my homeland, I felt the urge to embark on a journey of self-discovery in another country. This decision has significantly contributed to my personal growth, enriching my experiences and nurturing my independence. Currently, I've been residing in the Netherlands for nearly two years, and I must say, I'm thoroughly enjoying it. I call Den Haag my home now, where I'm pursuing a degree in finance and control at The Hague University of Applied Sciences (THUAS). I'm on the lookout for accommodation in the Hague, preferably around the city center. Describing myself, I'd say I'm easy-going, friendly, and responsible. I take pride in maintaining a clean and tidy living space, and in my current accommodation, my housemates and I adhere to a regular cleaning schedule to keep things in order. Outside of academics, I engage in various activities with my housemates, such as glass painting and sewing. Although I currently don't have any pets, I'm fond of them and wouldn't mind sharing a living space with furry friends. I'm a non-smoker who enjoys spending my leisure time outdoors, particularly taking strolls in Haagse Bos and Malieveld. There's something serene about reading a book under the trees in those areas. Additionally, I'm an active member of Haagse Lawn Tennisclub Leimonias, where I regularly indulge in tennis.
