I will be moving to Groningen to study Human Geography and Planning (starting 1.9.2024). Currently I live in Hannover, Germany and work as a software developer in a small company. Hoi Hoi! Ik ben Jolie, 19 jaar en dringend op zoek naar een kamer, liefst in Nijmegen. Ik ben bijna klaar met mijn opleiding meubel-/scheeps interieurbouw aan de ROC Nijmegen. Ik wil heel graag een plekje voor mijzelf. Ik ben een rustig, sociaal en opgeruimd type. Van mij zal je zeker geen last ervaren. Geen huisdieren en niet(s) roker. I am Carmen and if you think I could be a good match as your new roommate, I would love to come by to have a look and chat with you :) But first things first, here's a little bit about myself 👇 Who am I and what do I do? I am Carmen, 29, originally from Austria and currently, I work as Marketing Manager at a Sales company in Houthaven (and loving it!) Initially, I moved here to study, but, eventually, I fell in love with the Netherlands and decided to stay 🤍 Where do I live now and why am I moving? Currently, I live in an apartment in Nieuw-West with one roommate, however, my rental contract was only one year, so now is the time for me to look for a new place I can call home. When am I moving? I am looking for a room from June onward but I am flexible and can also move in sooner! Am I tidy? I am Austrian, I think being organized and tidy is in our DNA 😄 But seriously, I think when sharing your living space it's important to clean up after yourself and just be considerate of one another (and have open communication!) Who else am I bringing? No one! It's just me and my 3 plants (but they are barely hanging on for dear life… so we'll see if they make it) BUT I am always buying fresh flowers (see picture as a reference 🌸) What do I do when I am not working? Generally, I am a quite quiet and relaxed person. Since my job is very demanding, I am usually tired when I get home. However, I am always up for a chat :) Weekends I either spend with friends at a nice brunch spot, go to a museum, the gym, or a nice walk, or just relax with a nice book. Am I a party girl? On a good day, I barely make it to 11.00 pm before I hit the bed 😴 but then again, if you wanna have a glass of wine in the kitchen and talk about life...say less 🍷 Some other things you should know? I don't have any pets, I don't smoke and I would like to rent a room for at least 1 year, but preferably longer if that's possible.
