(If you’re wondering: I always practice at the university, not at home...so noise won’t be an issue!) For my Master’s, I wanted to study abroad and was lucky to be accepted at Codarts Rotterdam. I’d describe myself as a relaxed, tidy, and reliable person. I spend most of my time making music, playing concerts, and doing related projects. In my free time, I love climbing (indoors/outdoors), bouldering, spending time with my girlfriend, hanging out with friends or just relaxing by myself. I’m not a big party person, but every now and then I enjoy going out. Ik kom naar Delft om Bouwkunde te studeren en om een leuke tijd te hebben. Ik houd ervan om met mijn vrienden uit te gaan. Verder zijn mijn hobbies pádel, skiën, taarten bakken en bergwandelen. Hey! Ik ben Simone, 18 jaar, en ik ga vanaf september Marine Sciences studeren in Wageningen. Na een tussenjaar vol reizen (Azië & Australië!), duiken, surfen en werken heb ik superveel zin om met het studentenleven te beginnen. Mijn oudste zus studeert in Delft en ik ga graag met haar mee stappen, dus ik kijk ernaar uit om ook in Wageningen een gezellige groep mensen om me heen te hebben. Thuis is het altijd lekker druk – ik ben eeneiige tweeling en heb nog een broer en zus – dus samenwonen ben ik wel gewend. Ik hou van gezelligheid in huis: samen eten, kletsen, een spelletje of een biertje, maar vind het ook chill om af en toe gewoon mijn eigen ding te doen. Daarnaast ben ik graag actief bezig: hardlopen, boulderen, tennissen... altijd in voor iets sportiefs. Qua werkervaring heb ik van alles gedaan: gewerkt op een boerderij (shovel rijden & koeien melken, echt leuk 🚜), als serveerster in een snackbar, in de keuken bij Van der Valk, als windsurfinstructeur… Ik pak dingen graag aan en vind het gezellig om samen te koken (kan ik best goed 😋), maar ik vind samen een film kijken op de bank ook helemaal leuk. Ik ben geboren in Londen en heb tweetalig VWO gedaan, dus als er huisgenoten zijn die geen Nederlands spreken, is dat voor mij geen enkel probleem. Ik ben op zoek naar een leuke kamer in een gezellig huis waar altijd wel iets gebeurt, maar waar ook ruimte is om gewoon te relaxen. Lijkt het jullie wat?
