This fall I will be moving to Utrecht for my exchange (erasmus) semester at Utrecht university from September 2026 to February 2027 and am therefor looking for a place to stay. I am looking to rent the property alone and my monthly income will be around 1000-2000 euros and I am also planning to financially support my stay with previous savings and help from my family. I am a responsible, tidy and respectful person open to living alone or with others. I don't have any pets or smoke.

For the past five years I've built and run the quality systems behind medical devices , most recently as senior QA officer on an autonomous medical robot, and now as quality and risk lead at Niavicta, where I'm also co-founder. I'm originally from South Africa, where I worked in medical device regulation before moving to the Netherlands in 2023. I've been in Utrecht since then, so this would be a local move rather than a fresh start, I know the area and I'm settled here. Outside work I'm at the gym a few times a week and I walk a lot; it's how I get away from a screen. The rest of my free time mostly goes into programming , I'm usually building something, learning a new tool, or taking a system apart to see how it works. As a housemate I'm tidy, self-sufficient and easy to live alongside. I cook properly, clean up after myself, and I'm not someone who fills the house with people. I like coming home to a calm place at the end of the day. I'm not a student, which in practice means a steady income, a predictable weekday routine, and no plans to move out at the end of a semester. I'm looking for somewhere settled for the longer term , at least 1-2 years.
