I am an International student coming to the Netherlands to do a premaster programme at Rotterdam University of applied sciences. I am looking for a clean environment to stay during my studies.I value respect and communication as I think its the key to live with people no matter their origin.During my spare time,football is one of my bobby I also like to learn how to cook new meals and sightseeing .I would like to know more about the Netherlands during my stay like their culture and local meals.

Hi! My name is Anna, aged 20, and I'm currently in my third year as a student in Groningen completing my bachelor's degree. I'm looking for housing starting June or July 2024 so that I can secure a place for when I begin my Master's degree. I'm originally from Latvia, but grew up in Ireland, and can easily say I get on well with people from all backgrounds and walks of life :) I consider myself a very responsible, clean, and organised (and quiet!) individual, and do not mind sharing facilities at all (since I have only ever lived in shared accomodation here in Groningen). My preference is housing somewhat closeby to Zernike and the city centre, and ideally with a maximum price of 500 to 600 euro per month.

Helaas wordt mijn huidige huis verkocht dus moet ik een nieuw plekje vinden. Ik woon nu in een huis met 3 vrouwelijke huisgenootjes maar ik dat is voor mij geen voorkeur! Ik ben een gezellig, sociaal en lief persoon en hou van zowel lekkere filmavondjes als uitgaan totdat de zon opkomt. Ik zit niet bij een studenten of studievereniging maar ik vind feestjes en afspreken met vrienden super leuk. Hey, my name is Kerrin, I´m 24 and a soon to be Master´s student from Germany looking for a place to live in Leiden or close by that ideally comes with nice people to live with and will hopefully feel like a home for the next few years. I´m currently finishing my Bachelor´s of molecular medicine in Tübingen, Germany, and will specialize in Biology and Science Communication in the future. Being interested in communication also means that I put great emphasis on a well-functioning communication in a shared flat and with people in general. It is very important to me that everyone´s needs can be talked about and are respected (including e.g. clean common spaces, quiet times, consideration of stressfull times, etc.). I´ve lived in two different shared flats and a student residence so far and loved the feeling of community and activities like cooking together, trips, or board game nights. I´m not much of a party person but will always be happy to join you for a cup of coffee or a walk on the beach. My friends describe me as empathetic, determined, well-organized, and funny and in my free time I like to be creative, spend time outside or cooking, meeting friends over a coffee, or learn a new language. Besides English and German, I´ve had fun learning Swedish and am currently getting into Spanish and Dutch. It would be great to have flatmates who could see themselves contributing to my Dutch too. Pearks of living with me would include that I can take very good care of your plants while you´re away and that I have lots of great recipes from my time working at the bakery of my favorite café. Mijn naam is Timo en ik ben sinds kort weer op zoek naar een eigen kamer. Na een tijd gewoond te hebben in Leeuwarden voor een studie ben ik gestopt en weer terug verhuist naar Vlaardingen. Hier heb ik nu naast mijn vrijwilligerswerk bij twee jeugdorganisaties een vaste baan gevonden bij Scouting BSO Vlaardingen en doe ik een BBL studie. Doordat mijn ouders nu beide ver weg zijn verhuisd en ik nu tijdelijk ergens woon is het belangrijk dat ik mijn eigen plekje zoek. Ik ben een nette huurder, sociaal ingesteld en over het algemeen gewoon gezellig. dus met huisgenoten samen wonen is voor mij geen probleem. Hi! My name is Alicia. I have been studying Philosophy at the Radboud University for the past year. Right now I am living independently in a room in Nijmegen. Unfortunately this is temporarily, as the contract will be expired in a few months. I am already looking for a new place, because I fell in love with Nijmegen and already built a life for myself here. Also I would like to take on an extra study next year (biology) and it would be very tough to do this while traveling 3 hrs a day. I would characterise myself als spontaneous, extroverted and creative. I love meeting new people and getting to know them. While I enjoy being with other people, I also enjoy spending time alone every now and then. It is in these moments that I like to go to the gym, or just engage in any physical activity in general. Other hobbies of mine are reading, learning (esp. new languages), chilling with friends, going on adventures (could be just in the city, but I also really like to travel the world), meeting new people and playing the piano every now and then. My first language is Dutch, but since my mother is Ukrainian I am also able to speak some Russian. Besides that I also am able to speak English.
