Hey! My name is Willem (25 years) and I started my PhD in February at the RIVM. The project is about building models to predict the spread of infectious diseases, like our good old friend corona… About myself: I am a social, physically active, calm and tidy person. In my spare time, I do calisthenics. Mostly in the gym, but preferably outside with nice weather and good company. Outdoor activities are my favorite! Besides calisthenics, I am looking for another sport, which might become bouldering and/or cycling. I also enjoy listening to music (from classical music to heavy metal and everything in between) and still want to learn how to sing. Besides sports, I really enjoy having a chat with my roommates during dinner or a relaxed evening on the couch. I work 2-3 days from home, so there are plenty of opportunities to catch up! Hoi! Ik ben Valesca. Op dit moment ben ik bezig met het schrijven van mijn scriptie voor de studie Communicatiewetenschap aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam. Ik studeer af in de richting Corporate communicatie. Na deze opleiding wil ik de master journalistiek aan de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen gaan volgen. Ik heb 5 jaar in de buurt van Westerpark gewoond en ik ken Amsterdam goed. Ik kijk er dan ook naar uit om hier de zomer door te brengen. Ik ben vrijgezel, houd van sporten (hardlopen, fietsen) en om weekends erop uit te gaan en van de Nederlandse omgeving te genieten.
