I am also pursuing a paid internship at TORCH art gallery in Amsterdam. My partner Leonid is a 27 year old artist working with photo, video and 3D. The place is dirty, old, and poorly managed. That is why I would love to move out to a more looked after place, it would greatly affect my mental health. Na de zomer begin ik met de studie geneeskunde in Utrecht. Ik woon op dit moment in Drenthe en ben ik dus op zoek naar een kamer. Afgelopen zomer heb ik 2 maand in Frankrijk op een camping in de animatie gewerkt. Nu heb ik een tussenjaar en werk 32 uur in de week. Ik ben een gezellig, sociaal en net persoon. Hallo, Mijn naam is Alva en ik kom uit Hamburg, Duitsland en zal 19 jaar oud zijn als ik in september aan mijn bachelor International Business begin. Op dit moment ben ik druk bezig met het maken van mijn examens op school, maar in mijn vrije tijd speel ik hockey. Ik heb ervoor gekozen om in Nederland te studeren omdat ik al verliefd was geworden op het land toen ik een uitwisselingsjaar deed in een klein dorpje vlakbij Eindhoven (De Mortel). Daar woonde ik bij een Nederlands gezin en ging naar een Nederlandse school en daarom spreek ik de taal nu vloeiend (ook al is het in de loop van de tijd misschien een beetje roestig geworden;) Ik ben een heel makkelijk en open persoon en help graag waar ik kan! Als het bijvoorbeeld gaat om schoonmaken of opruimen, ben ik zeer verantwoordelijk en betrouwbaar. Hoewel ik met andere mensen samen zou wonen, hoop ik niet alleen met huisgenoten te zijn, maar ook af te kunnen spreken met vrienden om bijvoorbeeld af en toe een kook- of filmavond te houden of gaan picknicken. Hey, I'm Jana, 20 years old, from Frankfurt Germany. I will start my international bachelor's degree in psychology in Leiden in September. So I'm looking for a room in Leiden/near Leiden from June/July/August on. About me: I graduated from high school last summer and decided to travel Europe. There I worked in different hostels and always shared a dorm with the other lovely volunteers. The 4 months have taught me a lot about being independent and tidying up my stuff and keeping things clean. But it helped me even more to learn to share a room with so many other people from other cultures and to live together and set boundaries as well as to accept those of others. Apart from traveling, I love going out with friends for a few drinks, dancing to house music and wine evenings on the balcony. On the other hand, I also love having really quiet evenings where we just sit together relax, chat, maybe cook and watch a movie. In my free time I go to the gym regularly. And just recently I've gotten to do yoga and Pilates a little more, which I also really enjoy. I am also a very creative person who likes to do crafts, paint or make pottery. And I also enjoy doing it with friends! About the room I would imagine a room around 15 m2 in size. But more important about the roomies. 1-3 roommates would be ideal - but I would have absolutely no problem with a larger number of roommates. Of course it would be great if the roommates were about the same age as me. Of course, I think it would be ideal if at some point as roommates you share hobbies and do things together((:

Hey my name is Marah and I’m 19 years and from Germany. I finished school in June and am currently living abroad before I want to start studying sport management in September. Therefore I’m looking for a room in Groningen. I’m open for anything, could be a shared household, a studio or even an apartment with up to 3 bedrooms. The price per room I’m looking for is max 700 euros incl. Preferably I would like to start renting the room in July but for the right fit I’m willing to rent it earlier. My big passion is sports, especially the gym and all kind of outdoor sports. I just completed my PT license and hope to work in a gym in addition to my studies. During my year abroad I’m partly living with a family as an aupair so definitely know what it means to successfully live together. I can’t say no to a coffee and love playing board games but am not that much of a partying person:)
