heyy, my name is Sebastian. I am a 19 year old German looking for accommodation in Amsterdam starting in September, since I will attend to the VU Amsterdam for my PPE Bachelor studies. Currently I am absolving a voluntary social year in Philadelphia, USA. During this year I am living together with 2 other German volunteers in our own apartment. Therefore, I would describe myself as an already experienced and responsible tenant. I would claim that I am a really tidy and neat person always looking after the tidiness of the apartment. I love living with other people as I am a really outgoing person but at the same time know how important it is to respect boundaries of ones roommates. My budget is up to 900€ as I will work part time during my studies and will be financially supported by my family. I look for a place to stay as early as August/September but would also be open to rent an apartment earlier. A bit about me: I love politics and societal topics which is why I am a very political active person. I love going out and spending time in cafés, park or museums. I am a big reader and lover for music and concerts.

Hallo, ik ben Daniëlle (19 jaar). Ik kom uit Eelde, een dorpje tussen Assen en Groningen in, waar ik ben opgegroeid. Ik ben nu op zoek naar een kamer in Deventer, omdat ik daar aan de Saxion Hogeschool ga studeren. Ik ga daar de Jan des Bouvrie Academy volgen voor Interior Design and Styling. Ik heb al een jaar aan studeren achter me liggen in Utrecht en dan biologie aan de Universiteit in Utrecht. Dat was niet een goede match geweest en dus ga ik mijn hart/hobby achterna en begin ik aan deze nieuwe studie. Ik heb vele hobbies, vooral creatieve en sportieve. Ik vind het leuk om met vrienden en vriendinnen af te spreken en leuke uitjes te plannen. Verder zorg ik altijd dat mijn leefomgeving schoon en redelijk opgeruimd is.

In september begin ik met mijn studie farmaceutische wetenschappen aan de vrije universiteit van Amsterdam. Omdat ik in Emmen woon, zoek ik dus een plek je in de buurt van Amsterdam om te wonen. Ik ben op zoek naar een kamer die ik vanaf 1 juni kan huren. In mijn vrije tijd sport ik graag en ik ben veel bezig met school. Ik ben een rustig, maar sociaal persoon en heb geen moeite met eventuele regels.

Moreover, I am a social person and enjoy meeting new people and knowing new cultures. However, I also enjoy spending time with myself and a good book, as I am a literature enthusiast. In my free time, I like to dance (especially ballet), travel, and watch series. I am a first-year student in the International MSc in Sustainable Drug Discovery, an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master. This is a two-year Master's program co-funded by the European Union in which we move places every semester. Given this dynamic structure, I have lived in 3 student dorms and shared apartments for the last year and a half. Therefore, I understand and cherish the intricacies and opportunities of sharing a living space.
