[English below] Hoi! Mijn naam is Valery en ik ben een 22-jaar-oude studente uit Duitsland. In maart van dit jaar heb ik mijn bachelor European Media Cultures afgerond en nu wil ik in september beginnen aan mijn master Archival and Information Studies aan de UvA. Ik zoek een kamer vanaf augustus (maar misschien al vanaf juli). Om een beetje over mij te vertellen: Vanwege mijn dubbel-studie-programma van de Duits-franse-Hogeschool (DfH) heb ik zowel in Weimar als in Lyon gestudeerd. In mijn vrije tijd ben ik graag creatief bezig (bv. haken, schilderen) of doe ik dingen met mijn vrienden. Ik houd van talen leren en kan naast Duits, Engels en Frans ook een beetje Nederlands praten (als er fouten in de beschrijving staan, dan spijt me dat 🥲). Daarom sta ik open voor een internationaal of Nederlands flatshare. Ik heb al in een paar gedeelde flats gewoond, dus ik heb ervaring over het flat share. So I will live in Amsterdam for at least three years. I am really communicative, but also can respect when people need their space, therefore I would love to live in a shared apartment. A little about me: I love spending time with my friends and family. I like to go out or stay in -> both have their positives sides and I enjoy both. For sporty activities I’d like to go swimming and just started jogging (but I don’t know if I like it yet) I am very responsible, friendly, open minded, clean, outgoing, positive and reliable. Also I can be very clumsy haha so living with me never gets boring (in a funny way) 😇. I grew up with animals, so I have no problems living with an animal. I graduated in "Politics and Society" and "English Studies" from Bonn University and would like to continue my studies at Leiden University. But don't worry, I'm not as boring as my studies sound. I'm an outgoing, communicative person who likes to spend time in nature but also enjoys cozy evenings reading books, writing and watching movies. In my free time, I like to cook, bake and try out new things. The newest addition to that is archery (and I haven't shot anyone yet out of accident, so that's a bonus). Although I like to spend time with other people, I'm a calm person who also appreciates peace and quiet sometimes. So concerning that, I'm a quiet, unobtrusive roommate. Living together is about respecting each others needs and wishes. You want to spend your evening alone or simply sit together for company? That's fine. Something else that might be good to know is that I'm fluent in both English and German. I also speak a little Dutch, since I've started to learn it, but so far it's mostly understanding what people say. Na de zomer begin ik met de studie geneeskunde in Utrecht. Ik woon op dit moment in Drenthe en ben ik dus op zoek naar een kamer. Afgelopen zomer heb ik 2 maand in Frankrijk op een camping in de animatie gewerkt. Nu heb ik een tussenjaar en werk 32 uur in de week. Ik ben een gezellig, sociaal en net persoon.
