Hi! I’m Yagiz, I’m 20 years old and originally from Turkey, but I’ve been living here in the Netherlands for two years now. Right now I’m working full time as a warehouse employee to save up some money so I can have it easier once I start my studies. At the same time I’m attending Taal school to get my Dutch to the next level, and after that I’m planning to start an MBO for movie editing since that’s my main passion. In my free time I’m usually busy with filmmaking and video editing, but I also love working out, going camping, or just hanging out and catching a movie. As a housemate I’m pretty easy-going and responsible, and I always make sure to keep the kitchen and common areas clean and organized. I just finished my MSc in International Financial Management at the University of Groningen, and I'm now in the transition from studies into my first proper job in finance and analytics. I'm giving up my room in Groningen at the end of April and looking for a place for up to six months while I settle into work. I can move in as soon as possible and I'm flexible on the exact start date. On the practical side: rent is fully covered. My parents are supporting me through this transition period, and I'm happy to provide proof of funds or a guarantor if that's useful. Ik ben Mara, 22 jaar en woon momenteel in Nijmegen. Momenteel die doe ik een tussenjaar na een Bachelor Psychologie. Tijdens mijn studententijd stond ik altijd open voor contact met medestudenten. Zo nam ik deel aan een studentenvereniging gericht op theater en deed ik mee aan verschillende cursussen in sport zoals badminton en boksen. Met vrienden vind ik het erg leuk goede gesprekken te voeren, te wandelen en iets te drinken in een café. Zelf sport ik graag, houd ik van tekenen, lezen en series en films kijken. Ook werk ik al anderhalf jaar bij een mentale support lijn waarbij ik emotionele ondersteuning bied aan jongvolwassenen.
