Hi! I'm a PhD student and Teaching Fellow coming to the Netherlands to conduct my research in the field of psychology. When not at the university, I will be either writing my PhD thesis, cooking (so if you are the person who likes talking to flatmates in the kitchen, I'm your girl) or doing one-day excursions around the Netherlands (I love art so I plan to see as many museums as possible). Apart from Poland, I used to live in the UK (London) and Canada (Montreal) - almost always with flatmates. I respect your privacy and always leave the shared space after myself clean. This summer I will be travelling with my 14-year old cat. Due to her age she usually sleeps, especially when I'm not around to entertain her. You'll never have to feed her - I have a food dispenser, so even if ever happens that I have to stay longer hours at the university she shouldn't bother you. Hope to hear from you! Groet, Oliwia424

Hello, I’m Aleksandra, 22 years old, and I’m from Poland. I had finished a degree in Economics from Rug. From September I will be starting a master programme in Energy and Enviromental Sciences. Currently, I am working in a restaurant and I will be doing my intership on a side, so I would stay quite busy during the week. In my free time I enjoy traveling, reading, cooking, working out, maybe playing some music or playing chess. Ideally, I am looking for a cozy space where I can focus on my studies and work but also enjoy my time and have a friendly atmosphere. I am renting out some space from my apartment. Since I also will stay in the apartment I will be your host (not a student), and as we may spend some time in the same apartment it may be a good idea to share some info about myself. I am broadly interested. I consider myself a social person. I like to be in contact with other people from all kinds of origin and like to talk about all kinds of subjects. I am an alpha as well as a beta person, I am into technical stuff as well as into languages. I do a lot of fitness at home. I have done all kinds of interesting things mostly on the area of IT, but have stopped working on a fixed position for a while now. I am not the type working with a fixed agenda, I eat when I want, sleep when I want, go out where and when I want, but I am quite punctial with my appointments and rules. Also I keep all my business in good order. I am rather experienced with renting to expats, young foreigners and Dutch people, though not in the house where I live myself, so this is new to me, but I am open to new things.

Hi, I'm Nico. I’m from London, I’m half Spanish and half Indian, and I speak English and Spanish (and am starting to learn Dutch). After studying maths at Cambridge, I’ve spent the last two years teaching in schools, and now will be starting the Mathematical Sciences MSc in Utrecht in September. I take my studies very seriously, but I'm eager to make friends and lots of memories. Besides learning (maths, science, philosophy, history, etc.), I love music (listening and sometimes playing/singing) and chilling with friends, as well as parkour, bouldering, and videogames from time to time. If I had to pick particular characteristics, I would describe myself as open, thoughtful, and easy-going, and as a resident I am clean, careful, and considerate.
