7811 Tenants in Netherlands

I am a third year Data Science student in Eindhoven. in September 2024 I am starting the master's of Artificial Intelligence at University van Amsterdam. I usually spend most of my time on campus either studying or working. In terms of shared facilities I care the most about kitchen as I like to cook a lot, I prefer if it is kept clean by all members of the house. I am not a big party person, I prefer the calm and quiet atmosphere at the house, but I don't mind occasional social events. I don't have any pets, and I also don't smoke. Currently my parents sponsor my education in the Netherlands as well as my living expenses and rent.

Ik woon momenteel in Den Haag, en besloot na het afronden van mijn middelbare in te schrijven voor de bachelor politicologie aan de VU in Amsterdam. Die studie bleek niet goed bij me te passen en besloot ik rechten te gaan studeren in Groningen. Mijn hobbies zijn sport, gamen, en ik vind koken ook steeds leuker, ook al ben ik er (nog) niet heel goed in helaas. Ik ben gezellig, rustig, hygiënisch, rook niet, en ik hoop een woning te vinden/delen (en ook wat vrienden te maken) met een potentiele huisgenoot/huisgenoten. I am Carmen, 29, originally from Austria and currently, I work as Marketing Manager at a Sales company in Houthaven (and loving it!) Initially, I moved here to study, but, eventually, I fell in love with the Netherlands and decided to stay 🤍 Where do I live now and why am I moving? Currently, I live in an apartment in Nieuw-West with one roommate, however, my rental contract was only one year, so now is the time for me to look for a new place I can call home. When am I moving? I am looking for a room from June onward but I am flexible and can also move in sooner! Am I tidy? I am Austrian, I think being organized and tidy is in our DNA 😄 But seriously, I think when sharing your living space it's important to clean up after yourself and just be considerate of one another (and have open communication!) Who else am I bringing? No one! It's just me and my 3 plants (but they are barely hanging on for dear life… so we'll see if they make it) BUT I am always buying fresh flowers (see picture as a reference 🌸) What do I do when I am not working? Generally, I am a quite quiet and relaxed person. Since my job is very demanding, I am usually tired when I get home. However, I am always up for a chat :) Weekends I either spend with friends at a nice brunch spot, go to a museum, the gym, or a nice walk, or just relax with a nice book. Am I a party girl? On a good day, I barely make it to 11.00 pm before I hit the bed 😴 but then again, if you wanna have a glass of wine in the kitchen and talk about life...say less 🍷 Some other things you should know? I don't have any pets, I don't smoke and I would like to rent a room for at least 1 year, but preferably longer if that's possible. Hoi hoi, Ik ben Ilse, een aankomend AOLB studente uit noord-brabant op zoke naar een kamer. Na een prachtig jaar gehad te hebben in Australie is het nu dan toch tijd om aan de studie te gaan, en waar anders dan in Groningen doet men dit? Omdat Groningen voor mij niet naast de deur ligt ben ik opzoek naar een fijne plek om in te wonen, een sociale plek maar ook ergens waar ik mijzelf af en toe terug kan trekken. Want hoewel ik altijd in ben voor een goed gesprek of spelletje is mijn sociale batterij ook nog wel s op. Ik ben over het algemeen een rustig en opgeruimd type, en ga dansend en zingend het leven door. Mocht je me ergens op de schoonmaak agenda willen zetten dan neem ik de badkamer wel :) Ik ben gek op het theater, ga erg goed op bakken en probeer zo nu en dan eens te sporten. Hey :) I am a new student at RUG and am searching for a flat in Groningen. I am a pretty open person and like to hang out and cook together. In my spare time I do Speedskating, play spikeball and go running. Right now I am doing a voluntary service in Rwanda, where I also live together with other volunteers.
