Hi there, I’m Ann, 26 from Germany, and currently looking for a room in Amsterdam. I just finished my bachelors in architecture and am looking forward to my time in Amsterdam to be working in an architectural office.

I’m Selma — 20 years old, part Greek and part Albanian (I’ve got both passports) and I moved to Amsterdam almost two years ago. I speak English, Albanian, Greek & Italian fluently and can understand a fair bit of Spanish and some Dutch as well. I work full-time in hospitality: I’m a tour guide at the Rijksmuseum and also do front office shifts at two hostels. Life stays busy, but I’m used to it. I’ve lived both alone and with roommates here in the city, so I know how to respect a shared space and keep things clean and easy. I’ve also dealt with the classic Dutch rental chaos — so yes, I’m fully aware of how contracts, rules, and responsibilities work. I’ve had my own flat for over a year now, but honestly? Living solo gets lonely, and it’s just not worth throwing money at. I thought having my own place in the center was the ultimate flex, but I realized it’s not really it, especially for someone like me who’s still figuring out where life will take me after these next few years I plan on spending in Amsterdam. Another big reason I’m looking to switch is to be smarter with my money — I’d rather invest in experiences that actually make me happy, like traveling or the occasional festivals. I don’t throw house parties and I don't go out much aside from events here and there. I do occasionally host friends from abroad (just a couch and good vibes — nothing disruptive). I’m clean, chill, and respectful — I believe in creating the kind of environment I’d want to live in, and I treat others the way I’d expect to be treated. So, I’m social when the vibe’s right, quiet when it’s not, and always considerate when I have guests. PS. Don't let some of my pictures fool you, my hair's now copper instead of black!

I am a second-year bachelor Computer Science student from Bulgaria. In my free time I like to play board games, video games and tennis. I can also solve the Rubik's cube blindfolded, and have a passion for (astro)photography. This summer I will be doing a software engineering internship, which I am very excited about! Hello! My name is Liadha (pronounced Lia), I am a 31 year old Irish female who is looking for a room in a place shared with like-minded people. I’m new to Amsterdam but not new to living abroad; I spent the last 6 years in Toronto, Canada, which I loved! I work in digital marketing and have a job in this field in Amsterdam, which is located in Amsterdam Zuid. I rented an apartment by myself for the past 3 years, so am used to managing the responsibilities of being a tenant, and can provide a great reference from the landlord. Prior to this, I lived in shared accommodation from the age of 17 and grew up with 4 sisters, so I am very much accustomed to sharing a living space! I like to work out or go for a run in the mornings, then generally work 9-5. I keep weekday evenings pretty chill, generally just cooking dinner and watching TV, but I like to meet friends for food or drinks later in the week and on weekends. I love trying new bars and restaurants so am excited to explore Amsterdam! I don’t know a lot of people in Amsterdam yet so am hoping to hang out with my new roommate(s) from time to time but I’m also totally fine with it if they like to keep to themselves. I love TV//film, good food, fashion, hiking, pilates, reading, travelling… if it sounds like a good fit, I’d love to arrange a viewing and meet properly :)
