Hi! I’m a 33-year-old materials scientist, and I’ll be moving from Spain to Delft in September 2026 to start a new position at TU Delft. I’m a social, friendly and responsible person, and I enjoy meeting new people and getting to know different cultures. I’m looking for a place to call home for around two years. I’ll be living on my own, although my partner may come to visit me from time to time. I’m a non-smoker, I don’t have any pets, and I’m respectful of shared spaces and other people’s privacy. Ideally, I’m looking for a room with private facilities or a small studio/apartment. I’m really looking forward to moving to Delft, discovering the city and building a new life here. Wij zijn Joris en Meike. We zijn allebei opgegroeid in Deventer en wonen mmenteel in Maastricht, waar we allebei hebben gestudeerd. Omdat we graag weer dichter richting ‘huis’ willen wonen, willen we naar Nijmegen verhuizen. Joris gaat na de zomer zeer waarschijnlijk fulltime voor de overheid werken in ’s-Hertogenbosch. Ik werk momenteel bij het Openbaar Ministerie en start binnenkort met mijn master aan de universiteit in Nijmegen. Omdat we beiden veel met het openbaar vervoer reizen, gaat onze voorkeur gaat uit naar een appartement op loopafstand van een station. Wij zijn allebei netjes, rustig en handig. We wonen inmiddels ruim drie jaar in ons appartement in Maastricht en hebben in die tijd nooit hulp van onze huisbaas hoeven vragen, bijvoorbeeld voor reparaties of onderhoud. Wij zoeken dan ook een fijne, rustige plek in Nijmegen die we ons thuis kunnen noemen.
