Mijn naam is Griffin Calaway. Ik kom uit de VS maar woon nu al 6 jaar in Nederland. Ik heb docentenopleiding engels en spaans gestudeerd en ben nu werkzaam bij een middelbareschool in Houten. Ik hou van koken, bakken, knutselen (naaien, en borduren de laatste tijd). Ik ben opzoek naar een rustige plekkie om mijn leven verder te bouwen. Ik ben overal best rustig, mijn vrienden noemen me vaak een soort opa. Maar ik vind een leuke kletsje of biertje ook wel eens leuk om te doen. Ik zoek een appartement of kamer met leuke huisgenoten, maar ik ben niet kieskeurig en kan met bijna iedereen omgaan.

Hi! Ik stel me graag even aan jullie voor, hopelijk is deze brief het begin van een leuke kennismaking en kunnen we elkaar binnenkort eens ontmoeten bij een etentje, drankje of gewoon een gezellige babbel. Ik ben Toon, 28 jaar, en binnenkort verhuis ik van Zürich naar Utrecht. Het voorbije jaar woonde ik in Zwitserland, waar ik als postdoctoraal onderzoeker werkte. Binnenkort start ik aan de Universiteit Utrecht, en hoewel ik met pijn in het hart afscheid neem van de prachtige Zwitserse bergen, kijk ik er ontzettend naar uit om Utrecht en het Nederlandse leven te ontdekken. Buiten mijn werk ben ik met allerlei zaken bezig, liefst met vrienden en kennissen. Ik fiets en loop graag, en vooral klimmen is een grote passie. Ik trek er dan ook regelmatig een weekendje met vrienden op uit naar mooie klimplekken in Europa, bijvoorbeeld Fontainebleau is een vaste favoriet. Daarnaast lees ik veel, ga ik graag wandelen of kamperen en kook ik graag. Verder speel ik akoestisch gitaar en speel ik heel graag bordspellen. In het algemeen heb ik dus graag een rustig leven en hecht ik ook veel aan een rustig thuis. Samenwonen is voor mij ook zeker meer dan gewoon een huis delen. Tijdens mijn studententijd en de eerste jaren van mijn doctoraat heb ik altijd met vrienden in een cohousing gewoond. Dat waren jaren waar ik met heel veel plezier en warme herinneringen op terugkijk. Samen koken, spontaan een glas drinken in de keuken, elkaar tegenkomen na een lange dag, samen sporten of gewoon een avondje niets doen. Ik zou het dan ook heel fijn vinden om opnieuw in een huis terecht te komen waar er ruimte is voor die vanzelfsprekende gezelligheid, maar waar iedereen natuurlijk ook zijn eigen leven en ritme heeft en daar respect voor is. Ik ben dus vooral op zoek naar een plek waar mensen elkaar graag zien, waar er af en toe spontaan iets samen gebeurt, en waar je je na een drukke dag ook gewoon even in de zetel kunt laten vallen. Ik vind het leuk om nieuwe mensen te leren kennen en ben meestal wel te vinden voor een gezamenlijk plan, van samen koken of een bordspelavond tot een fietstocht en klimdag. Hee, Ik ben Lieke, 20 jaar, en ik studeer Diergeneeskunde in Utrecht. Momenteel zit ik in het derde en laatste jaar van mijn bachelor. Daarna de rust weer op kunnen zoeken is voor mij erg belangrijk. Ik ben een verantwoordelijke, nette, rustige en sympathieke huisgenoot. Ik houd mijn omgeving graag schoon en netjes.
