I'm also always down for a good TV series or K-drama. I am a non-smoker, have no pets, and I always keep my shared spaces clean and tidy. I have spent the last 3 years living in Rotterdam for my Bachelor's, and this September I will be starting a Master's in Cognitive Neuroscience in Maastricht. I have been living in shared apartments for the past 5 years, so I am very used to sharing a space and being considerate of the people around me. I like it when a shared apartment feels a bit social, and it's nice to occasionally hang out with the people I live with. I really value good communication and am mindful of keeping shared spaces clean and comfortable for everyone. I enjoy cooking and baking, which tends to work out quite well for the people I live with. My other amazing qualities include being the owner of a somewhat fancy espresso machine and an air fryer. I am pretty easygoing at home and generally like to keep things relaxed. After a long day I am usually happy to unwind for a bit, but I also enjoy spending time together, whether that's cooking, playing games, watching a show, or sharing a glass of wine. Other than that, I enjoy getting out and being active. I like hiking, camping, and going to the gym. I also have a ton of creative hobbies that I can barely keep track of, but lately I have been more into sewing and sketching. In the country, I worked as a textile engineer (pattern maker), and my husband in the electrical engineering field. Currently, we both have secure jobs here in Groningen, providing us with a stable income to comfortably cover our rent and living expenses. We are very quiet, non-smoking people who value cleanliness and order. We have a great track record as renters, with positive experiences living in shared environments, and we never receive complaints. We are currently staying with friends until the end of July. They are incredibly happy with how we care for their space (and their cats!), and we can gladly provide their reference if needed.. Regarding the accommodation you offer, we think it is exactly what we are looking for. A lot of the accommodation in the Netherlands is rooms in student houses, and does not accept working people. So we are looking for a quiet studio or apartment, where we can rest, cook after a day of work, and study (we are learning English and Dutch at the moment). Nothing more. The size of the space is really irrelevant to us, and as long as it is okay with you, we are perfect to live together in this space. We have lived in small spaces all our lives.

Hoi! Ik ben Ishara, 22 jaar oud, en momenteel bezig met afstuderen in Toegepaste Psychologie. Vanaf september start ik aan een nieuwe bachelor Psychologie aan de Radboud University. Sinds mijn 18e woon ik al op kamers in Nijmegen en inmiddels heb ik hier echt mijn eigen leven opgebouwd. Op dit moment woon ik in een studentenhuis met een vrij zelfstandige kamer (eigen keuken en ongeveer 30m²), maar ik merk dat ik nu toe ben aan een volgende stap: een eigen studio of appartement waar ik wat meer rust en mijn eigen ritme kan hebben. Ik ben erg zelfstandig, rustig en netjes. Ik hou van een schoon huis en ben eerlijk gezegd een beetje een stress-schoonmaker, er gaat dus wekelijks wel een doekje over alles heen en de stofzuiger wordt regelmatig gebruikt 😄. Ik ga niet vaak uit, organiseer geen feestjes en ga respectvol om met mijn woonomgeving. Natuurlijk heb ik soms vrienden of familie over de vloer, maar verder leef ik vrij rustig. In mijn vrije tijd hou ik van lezen, spelletjes spelen, samen eten met vrienden en gewoon gezelligheid opzoeken. Ik zoek vooral een fijne plek waar ik me thuis kan voelen. Omdat ik volledig op mezelf ga wonen, vind ik het ook belangrijk om goed en open contact te hebben met een huisbaas/verhuurder en duidelijke communicatie te hebben met elkaar. Ik hoop een fijne, rustige plek in Nijmegen te vinden waar ik voor langere tijd met plezier kan wonen!
