Hi, I´m going to start my first year studies in Utrecht at the end of august 2024. I´m looking for a room with other students, if possible. I´m from Cádiz Spain and speak spanish and english. I like pets, I have two cats at home.

Hallo! Vanaf 1 September begin ik aan mijn PhD in Leiden, en daarom ben ik op zoek naar een gezellige kamer in de stad. Ik geniet ervan om samen met huisgenoten te koken, de stad te verkennen, of gewoon relaxed een boek te lezen in het park. Als huisgenoot ben ik rustig en schoon. I am Carmen, 29, originally from Austria and currently, I work as Marketing Manager at a Sales company in Houthaven (and loving it!) Initially, I moved here to study, but, eventually, I fell in love with the Netherlands and decided to stay 🤍 Where do I live now and why am I moving? Currently, I live in an apartment in Nieuw-West with one roommate, however, my rental contract was only one year, so now is the time for me to look for a new place I can call home. When am I moving? I am looking for a room from June onward but I am flexible and can also move in sooner! Am I tidy? I am Austrian, I think being organized and tidy is in our DNA 😄 But seriously, I think when sharing your living space it's important to clean up after yourself and just be considerate of one another (and have open communication!) Who else am I bringing? No one! It's just me and my 3 plants (but they are barely hanging on for dear life… so we'll see if they make it) BUT I am always buying fresh flowers (see picture as a reference 🌸) What do I do when I am not working? Generally, I am a quite quiet and relaxed person. Since my job is very demanding, I am usually tired when I get home. However, I am always up for a chat :) Weekends I either spend with friends at a nice brunch spot, go to a museum, the gym, or a nice walk, or just relax with a nice book. Am I a party girl? On a good day, I barely make it to 11.00 pm before I hit the bed 😴 but then again, if you wanna have a glass of wine in the kitchen and talk about life...say less 🍷 Some other things you should know? I don't have any pets, I don't smoke and I would like to rent a room for at least 1 year, but preferably longer if that's possible. I'm 20 (born 2004), female, Viet and agnostic. I spent my first year after high school going to a college in Vietnam studying Business and traveling around the country. I consider myself a low-maintenance and laid-back person who respects people's selves and boundaries. I can be lazy sometimes, but I sure will tick off all the boxes of the cleaning duty. I take my responsibilities very seriously. I'm not exactly a great cook or anything but I'm always down to learn and try new things, such as cooking dinner, baking, gardening, taking care of pets (I'm a huge cat person), supporting local community, even playing a new sport, if you're patient enough to teach me. In my spare time, I enjoy exploring new places, studying, reading, and binge-watching Netflix. I'm the kind of person who likes to be alone by herself but would also be down to go for a walk in the middle of the night if asked to come with, not just because I want to make friends but also because I like doing spontaneous things anyway. Goede-morgen-middag-avond-nacht Ik ben op zoek naar een kamer in Delft. Ik woon momenteel in Zoetermeer en ik studeer Elektro Techniek aan de TU. Ik ben erg enthousiast over mijn bachelor.
