My hobbies include listening to music and going to festivals and concerts and being active within my study association (S.V. Asterix of Celtic Languages and Culture). I love cats and will pet any I come across and am overall a pretty social and spontaneous person. I am a pretty decent housemate i.e. I clean up after myself and don't tend to cause a lot of disturbance.

Hey, my name is Kerrin, I´m 24 and a soon to be Master´s student from Germany looking for a place to live in Leiden or close by that ideally comes with nice people to live with and will hopefully feel like a home for the next few years. I´m currently finishing my Bachelor´s of molecular medicine in Tübingen, Germany, and will specialize in Biology and Science Communication in the future. Being interested in communication also means that I put great emphasis on a well-functioning communication in a shared flat and with people in general. It is very important to me that everyone´s needs can be talked about and are respected (including e.g. clean common spaces, quiet times, consideration of stressfull times, etc.). I´ve lived in two different shared flats and a student residence so far and loved the feeling of community and activities like cooking together, trips, or board game nights. I´m not much of a party person but will always be happy to join you for a cup of coffee or a walk on the beach. My friends describe me as empathetic, determined, well-organized, and funny and in my free time I like to be creative, spend time outside or cooking, meeting friends over a coffee, or learn a new language. Besides English and German, I´ve had fun learning Swedish and am currently getting into Spanish and Dutch. It would be great to have flatmates who could see themselves contributing to my Dutch too. Pearks of living with me would include that I can take very good care of your plants while you´re away and that I have lots of great recipes from my time working at the bakery of my favorite café. Ik hou onder andere van reizen, wandelen, muziek en concerten. Ik woon momenteel nog bij mijn ouders in Den Hoorn (vlakbij Delft), maar zou graag willen verhuizen naar een eigen plekje in Leiden/Den Haag!

Een grote bezigheid van mij momenteel is Scouting, dit doe ik dan ook al meer dan 10 jaar. Verder teken ik wel eens en ik hou ook wel van een spelletje(kan bord/kaartspel zijn of een game). Ook hou ik erg van muziek (luisteren), ik heb dan ook een goede speakerset die ik eventueel kan meenemen, of juist thuislaten als je geen 'herrie' wil. Ik hou wel van wat gezelligheid, maar ik wil ook af en toe wel even rust. Dus dat was ik in het kort.

Geachte ontvanger, Kort over ons, Hevrest (23) is een master student aan de UvA en Saurab (23) een derdejaars student aan de Universiteit van Utrecht. Wij hebben al eerder met elkaar in een studentenhuis gewoond, maar willen nu we ouder zijn onze rust. Wij werken allebei 16 - 20 uur in de week, voornamelijk vrijdag, zaterdag en zondag. Voor de volledige huur kunnen wij garant staan totdat wij een derde huisgenoot hebben gevonden. De ouders van Saurab kunnen bovendien garant staan voor de huur en alle drie de inwoners. Mijn naam is Timo en ik ben sinds kort weer op zoek naar een eigen kamer. Na een tijd gewoond te hebben in Leeuwarden voor een studie ben ik gestopt en weer terug verhuist naar Vlaardingen. Hier heb ik nu naast mijn vrijwilligerswerk bij twee jeugdorganisaties een vaste baan gevonden bij Scouting BSO Vlaardingen en doe ik een BBL studie. Doordat mijn ouders nu beide ver weg zijn verhuisd en ik nu tijdelijk ergens woon is het belangrijk dat ik mijn eigen plekje zoek. Ik ben een nette huurder, sociaal ingesteld en over het algemeen gewoon gezellig. dus met huisgenoten samen wonen is voor mij geen probleem. I am renting out some space from my apartment. Since I also will stay in the apartment I will be your host (not a student), and as we may spend some time in the same apartment it may be a good idea to share some info about myself. I am broadly interested. I consider myself a social person. I like to be in contact with other people from all kinds of origin and like to talk about all kinds of subjects. I am an alpha as well as a beta person, I am into technical stuff as well as into languages. I do a lot of fitness at home. I have done all kinds of interesting things mostly on the area of IT, but have stopped working on a fixed position for a while now. I am not the type working with a fixed agenda, I eat when I want, sleep when I want, go out where and when I want, but I am quite punctial with my appointments and rules. Also I keep all my business in good order. I am rather experienced with renting to expats, young foreigners and Dutch people, though not in the house where I live myself, so this is new to me, but I am open to new things.
