Dear future landlords, In the following description you’ll find a few essential details about myself, although there is much more to share but that I hope will be possible during an in person viewing. I am a 29 year old girl from Serbia, been living here since April 2022, although Amsterdam was my favorite city since I first moved here for two years before the pandemic. I work in the heart of Amsterdam at one of the leading hotels and have already started my Dutch language courses in order to finally be able to maintain a longer conversation in het Nederlands. Furthermore, I like hiding in my own little bubble, but once in a while I am definitely open to leave it behind for a night out at a drum and bass festival to enjoy my favorite music genre. Some of my hobbies include running, longboarding, cycling, slacklining, cleaning (mild ocd, just enough to always keep the apartment tidy. Moreover, I love to read and nothing feels more cosy than doing so in the comfort of my own studio. Mijn naam is Yente van der Veen, ik ben 21 jaar en ik woon sinds de zomer van 2022 in Groningen. Ik ben opgegroeid (met mijn ouders en zusje) in Winsum, ik heb mijn VWO-diploma behaald op het Werkman Stadslyceum in Groningen en ik volg nu de Engelstalige studie Spatial Planning and Design aan de RUG. Bij deze bachelor staan ruimtelijke planning en ruimtelijk ontwerpen centraal en leer je meer over infrastructuur-, milieu- en watermanagement. De studie bevalt me erg goed, met name het designcomponent vind ik een erg leuk onderdeel! Anderen omschrijven mij als een sportieve, rustige, onafhankelijke en vrolijke meid. Ik vind het leuk om met anderen te kletsen en een drankje te doen, maar ik vind het ook fijn om op mijn eigen kamer te relaxen. Mijn hobby's zijn o.a. hockey, skiën, reizen, het kijken naar voetbal, hockey en de grandprix en social media. Ik ben lid van een commissie van de faculteitsvereniging en ik ben bij de hockeyclub betrokken als scheidsrechter en lid van de PR commissie.

Hoi! Ik ben Dido. Ik ben 19 en studeer History aan de UU. Ik woon op het moment uit huis in Hilversum maar heb nu erg veel zin om lekker in de stad te wonen, het liefst met andere studenten/jonge mensen. Ik vind het altijd leuk om nieuwe mensen te leren kennen, ben sociaal maar geniet ook erg van rustig mijn eigen ding doen. Ik dans al sinds ik jong was en ben hier lid van de dansvereniging Studance waar ik aan klassiek doe. Verder hou ik heel erg van muziek, naar concertjes gaan, een drankje doen, een spelletje spelen, schrijven en lezen. Ik ben ook actief en probeer vaak nieuwe klasjes op Olympos of zoek de natuur op. Aangezien ik van koken hou lijkt het mij gezellig om af en toe samen te eten of een drankje te doen wanneer het goed uitkomt. Een spelletje spelen en een film samen te kijken is ook altijd leuk!

Ik ben de ideale huurder, want ik ben rustig en schoon. Ik heb zelfs al eerder op kamers gewoond in Eindhoven! Ik heb geen huisdieren en rook ook niet.

My name's Konstantinos, an 18-year-old Greek, starting my IBA Bachelor's at UT this September. I'm a pretty outgoing and friendly guy who loves meeting new people from different backgrounds. I've been lucky enough to travel around Europe and the US, which has opened my mind and made me appreciate different cultures. I'm a dedicated student, but I also believe in having a balanced life. When I'm not hitting the books, you can find me listening to music, watching movies, trying out new restaurants, or playing sports like basketball, Formula 1, and football. Although my first priority is a dedicated studio or apartment I am perfectly fine with a room as well. Living in a shared flat seems like a great way to connect with people, learn from each other, and maybe even make some lifelong friends. I'm respectful of shared spaces and keeping things clean, but I also like to hang out with my housemates and have a good time. I would like to move no later than the 1st of August 2024. This is the ideal but I am ok for 1st of June/July as well.

Hi, I am an artsy, active and social guy looking for a nice room/ studio to rent in Amsterdam. *Budget of between 700 - 1000€/month, willing to begin renting asap *Location: under 30 minute biking distance from city center *Hoping to connect with a new community/ nice roomies to hang out with every once in a while I have previously lived in Finland and Canada (Toronto) and will be starting dance studies in August '24 at the University of Arts, Academy of Theatre and Dance. My days are filled with dance, I will be training at the academy in a 'nine to five' routine schedule. Other than that I have an active and healthy lifestyle. I like being busy; love playing basketball and soccer on my spare time and can easily be talked into chatting about arts and sports.
