About the place

A room in our monumental house will become available in Nijmegen East July 15. The room is 23 m2 and has been completely renovated and painted in the characteristic historic amber color, so painting it yourself is not possible. You have your own sink in the room. There is an intercom, internet and TV connection. 
 
You share the kitchen and bathroom with 4 fellow residents who are studying and have just started working. We keep the house very clean with a strict cleaning schedule and expect the same from the new resident. We mainly go our own way, but when we see each other in the kitchen we often have a chat, drink tea together or sometimes eat together. So we are looking for someone who is spontaneous and sociable, who also leads her own life.

We have a comfortable shared kitchen. Off the kitchen there is a very spacious balcony that is furnished as a living terrace with two seating areas, an electric outdoor BBQ, outdoor table lamps, a herb box and a birch tree. 
The toilet and shower/toilet have recently been renovated. Washing machine, refrigerator, freezer, microwave and oven are also shared. 

Some additional information about the room:
The room is 23 m2 and is located on the cooler west side on the 2nd floor, with a view of the garden. The interior has been completely renovated while retaining the characteristic attic atmosphere. The walls are in the intense amber of around 1900, for a sunny and at the same time spiritual appearance. There is still the old wooden mantelpiece (original 1896), a 1930s mantelpiece mirror and an old 'oeil de boeuf' wall mirror, against which a modern design looks good. There is room in the room to separate a sleeping area. A large hanging and cupboard also serves as a partition. 
Various ceiling spotlights can be dimmed independently of each other to create an atmosphere of your own choice. 

Preference is given to a male housemate (22-24 years old) who is further along in his studies or is working. Someone too, who feels at home in the historical style (because painting over is not possible!). So are you calm, neat, do you have no pets, do you not smoke and do you see yourself living with us?
